Mattress Firm Flint Township — Hotel in Flint Charter Township

Don't walk, RUN from the Mattress Firm. I paid over a thousand bucks for an adjustable bed set less than a year ago, and the adjustable part just stopped working today. I called the store in Flint Township, and sales rep Mari could not have been less helpful. She sent me to the website to apply for a warranty, telling me I had three days left to do so. The website, however, said there was no warranty claim available. I called back, and she basically said too bad. I could order a new adjustable platform, she told me, but it would cost over $1,000 and include a new mattress, which I don't need, since mine is less than a year old. So, what about box springs only? Almost $600, she said, and God only knew when it could be delivered. She didn't offer to send a repair guy out to see if it's something that could be easily fixed (I would of course have paid for that). I told her the back of my bed was in an up position when it died; was there any way to flatten it manually so I could sleep tonight? She had no ideas to share. Finally, I called the Mattress Warehouse. They're delivering box springs to me tomorrow. Total cost: $270. One more thing: When the Mattress Firm delivered my set less than a year ago, the guys stole something out of my bedroom dresser. I didn't do anything about it because they were already gone when I noticed and I had no proof. Bottom line: This is a shady operation with no customer service and outlandish prices....

I needed a twin mattress for my youngest (2 years old), whose toddler bed is no longer working for him. I am putting him in a twin bed for now and once both my boys are old enough, will move them up to a bunk bed. Kevin helped me find a good deal on a Serta mattress that I liked that will work for both purposes, and a bunkie board instead of a box spring since he's pretty little yet and we'll be changing to the bunk bed after a few years. We found a mattress and solution we liked, and the things that made me buy right away was they are doing free delivery to your door during the pandemic, so that convenience made it an easy call for me. It was also fun to try the Purple mattress (4 firmness levels), regular spring mattress and memory foam mattress. I wanted the one I bought to work for me and guests so I opted for the one most comfortable for me with individually pocketed coils. They had a sheet to lay down before I tried them so it was hygenic, and hand sanitizer I could use. Kevin and I wore a mask so I felt very safe. It was easy and fast, and after running it by my spouse, it was quick to set up delivery and make a purchase. They give you a 2-hour delivery window the day before delivery so you can plan. I ordered a Purple Mattress from Mattress Firm, Flint. Jo Ann, from the Mattress Firm internet site, New York, handled my initial order. She was fabulous. The delivery was timely and efficient. The delivery personnel were extremely professional and careful. To my surprise, the mattress was too large, my fault not theirs. I contacted the Flint store and Kaleb reordered the proper sized mattress and arranged a new delivery date. He was very kind, understanding and efficient. I stopped by the Flint store to look at pillows, suggested by Kaleb. I was pleasantly greeted by Decarlo and Kevin. Decarlo was exceptional and helped me select two pillows. Kevin also recommended the mattress cover. Kevin reviewed my mattress exchange and the new purchases, and ensured a convenient delivery date. The delivery associates arrived with the mattress exchange. I am always afraid that, during the delivery process, household items will be damaged or broken, as this usually is my luck. Not so. On both delivery occasions, the associates were careful, attentive and professional. This is the BEST experience I've had with a company in many, many years. Thank you so much.
