The mattress cover is indeed $140.00, but it was on ‘sale’ for $105.00.
No one read the phone number back to me. The person entering the information was new and struggling. Perhaps he made a mistake. That happens. Or, perhaps it was because people would not quash all the Lions talk and he could not concentrate.
When I went back to the store about returning the mattress, the gentleman looked it up by my phone number, but could not find it. Next he looked by my name, found it and said ‘oh, he put in an 810 for the area code’. So, yes… just like me making a mistake with the number of days for the warranty, your staff made a mistake with the phone number.
My point here is that I was told someone would get back to me. It has not happened after several months. This demonstrates a lack of customer service.
I purchased the mattress with the understanding that I could return if if not 100% satisfied. However, with the 4 guys talking about the Lions football, the number of days I had was lost someplace. That’s on me. I went to the store and learned I was a few weeks over the return period.
Also, in order to qualify for the mattress return you have to buy a $140.00 mattress cover, or the warranty is void. What a ripoff!
However, the salesman said he would talk to his manger to see what they could do and get back to me in a few days. That was several months ago and I still have not heard back from them. Clearly, once a sale is made, it’s a done deal and I am still hating this mattress.
I think their attention to detail is very lacking. When he tried to look up my account he could not find it. It was because they had the wrong area code for my phone number. To me, this clearly shows that there was too much chatter and not enough paying attention to the customer making the purchase and mistakes were made.

I would appreciate it if you would look at your records because before you would even come out, you asked for my credit card information . We purchased a mattress in January of last year for over $2000. We had problems right away called the store. They told us we need to flip it every 90 days which we did and if we wanted to return it we would have to spend 250 restocking fee plus a delivery fee, so we thought we try the flipping then we just we can’t take it anymore and called and said There’s something very wrong so they sent out someone that we had to pay for who did not measure did not do anything really didn’t even talk to the mattress and said from across the room oh it’s just normal wear and tear. This is absolutely disgraceful I would never buy another mattress from peerless. We previously bought mattresses from Skaff furniture in Flint and they never charged us when there was a problem to come out. they also measured the indentation and made good on warrantees shame on this company the guy that you speak to is Very short with people and he’s a very slick salesman not in the best way. This is very sad when I was a kid my mother always buy mattresses from there, but is absolutely appalling that they do not stand behind their product Does this look like normal wear...

THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES AND WE END UP CALLING THEM AGAIN! I AM READY TO TAKE THEM TO COURT AND REGRET THAT WE MADE PEERLESS OUR CHOICE! They used to have great customer service.
We recently bought 3 mattresses and box spring sets plus 2 pillows. We went back and ordered a headboard for one of the sets. The headboard came damaged with holes punched in the wood but we were told it’s distressed wood and that’s the way it’s always been made. John gave me information for Leggitt and Platts Fashion Bed Group site and I found one I liked. We ordered on November 30, 2018 and are still waiting for a decision. On their site, this bed does not have holes in the wood.
