I had the pleasure of embarking on an extraordinary adventure with Austin from Flipper Finders, and I can't express enough how fantastic the experience was. From our 7 am start to finish, Austin made sure our tour of the intercoastal waterway was nothing short of magical.

First and foremost, the sunrise we witnessed was absolutely breathtaking. It felt like a scene straight out of a dream, and Austin's expertise in choosing the perfect spot allowed us to soak in every moment of this natural wonder.

Austin's knowledge of the local ecosystem and wildlife was truly impressive. We were treated to a captivating display of diverse waterfowl, and his insights into their behaviors and habitats added a whole new layer of appreciation to the experience. From start to finish, our boat excursion with Flipper Finders was seamless. They send you the safety waivers online beforehand making the checkin process a breeze and Tanner at the front desk kept our crew company and offered us ice for our cooler as we waited for our boat captain. We rented a pontoon that easily fit our group of 12 with extra space for our cooler and some boat boogying. They also have two overhangs for extra shade coverage if you want it, a Bluetooth speaker for your tunes, and a cooler if you don’t have one, so bring all drinks and snacks.

Now on to the real highlight of our boat tour to celebrate our bride was the captain, who is named, I kid you not, Will Smith. He is a born and raised South Carolinan who grew up on the water and knows just about all you could know regarding the area and the wildlife. Think like your most fun uncle, but less lame who also surfs the world when he’s not boating. He even took pictures for us in the water and is basically the friendliest, chillest dude. We cruised around the bay and ended up at a beach near a lighthouse where we could hang on the docked lily pad, jump off the boat, and go seashell hunting.

Okay I lied, the highlight were the DOLPHINS as we were lucky enough to have several sightings that did not disappoint. So yea if you need a relaxing but equally exciting group activity for your vacation, hightail it to Flipper Finders....

Captain Richard and his team are amazing. Our staff attended a tour with Flipper Finders with their newest vessel. We were all impressed with the professionalism, laid-back atmosphere, and wealth of knowledge Captain Richard shared about the area, the waterways, and the history behind some of Charleston's well-kept secrets. We were first welcomed by Captain Richard at the dock then joined his crew on the boat. Next, he discussed where the life jackets were located and made sure we were all aware of all safety precautions. Then, we were off to explore Charleston's beautiful waterways. We experienced impeccable views of the Ravenel Bridge and seagrass areas along with watching wildlife around the water (the pelicans diving for food were my favorite), and even saw a pod of 5 dolphins swimming together on our way back to the dock. On our way back to the mainland, Captain Richard played music that suited everyone on the boat and had some of our team dancing! All in all, this was an amazing experience and I highly recommend spending an afternoon with Flipper Finders and Captain Richard. He is the epitome of Southern Hospitality and I cannot wait to return for another voyage!...
