Folly Sol — Attraction in Folly Beach

I wish I had taken a picture of the shop! Such a nice space. Maps for some reason shows it in McKevlin’s but it’s actually a short stroll a little further down on the right. Amanda’s photo’s are displayed throughout and are as gorgeous as always, capturing the beauty and serenity of Folly and a few other iconic Low Country sights. She still has some pieces displayed with pieces of the old Folly Pier! Joey’s jewelry has a vast range of affordable options with several pieces being true Folly souvenirs with sand or sharks teeth presented in a subtle and very classy way! Owner makes young women sit in 80+ degree store all day. When I was there last week it was hotter in the store than outside, what a shame. Half of the stuff in there looks like it corrodes and looks cheap. Mostly temu looking stuff. I know some of it is made in store and some of it is nice. Also noticed the THC drinks on display were expired. Thought this was supposed to be a boutique. Shame, I expected more out of a 5 star store on a lovely island. Not sure how legal it is for underaged girls to be selling those expired THC...

Folly Sol is a great place to explore on Folly Beach. It has so much beautifully hand crafted art. The owner, Amanda, was so warm and an absolute joy to talk to. She also happens to be an amazing photographer, sharing unique stories behind different photos. My wife and I bought a few prints and gorgeous necklace that will undoubtedly make us reminisce about our trip to South Carolina and more specifically Folly Sol. 10/5 would recommend but Google only gives 5 stars to work with.
