We went tonight right before 7 and our experience wasn’t the best. It wasn’t busy and they were fixing to start trivia. We ordered right at 7. About 20 minutes later she said our food should be out in a few minutes. After that we didn’t see her untill 8:15 when she came over to take our plates and noticed that they wasn’t there. She said “has y’all’s food not came out yet “ and we said no. We could see her in the bar area looking around and lol at the menu to see if she could remember what we ordered. She came back and said that our ticket “got lost” and asked what we ordered so she could turn it in. We declined and decided not to order. We asked if we owed for the waters we ordered and she said “yes, but it’s on the house”. We felt like she completely lied because of the fact that she told us our food would be out soon so that means she didn’t even check. We were so looking forward to trying the food here as it was recommended to us a lot and this was the 2nd we tried to eat there today. The first time they was...
Read moreAvoid here if you are not a local. My experience was positive while ordering over the phone, and when paying at pick up as the one bearded gentleman was great. After that point, all negative. The food is definitely way overpriced for what is being offered and the quality of product and taste. Our bill for 2 adults and 2 kids was way over $100, not including tip. We are talking chicken tenders, but; bar food pretty much. The food was so horrible we didn't even eat more than 2 bites. A huge turnoff was that there were several intoxicated patrons(one that seemed to be a restaurant employee from across the road) that were being rude and obnoxious to those picking up at the to-go window; borderline harassment, to the point of walking up and knocking on customers car windows that we're getting ready to leave and walkng up to and approaching others and removing their mask. I would personally advise everyone to try another restaurant as they're plenty of wonderful ones...
Read moreFirst time at Folly Beach and we stopped in for lunch. I got the hot dog special for 6.95 and my boyfriend got the garlic burger. I paid extra for onions and chilli. The chili was clearly canned chili and beans. I do not eat beans on my hot dog! My boyfriends garlic burger was a piece of meat between a bun with a slice of tomato. No condiments, nothing. He took a bite and asked me to taste it. I immediately tasted a pungent spoiled meat taste and spit it out. We brought it to the waiter's attention who said "our meat was brought in fresh yesterday and made into patties today, so there's no way it could be spoiled. " My boyfriend asked if he could order something else and the waiter said sure, but you'll pay for the burger and whatever else you order. WOW! We asked for the bill since neither of us could eat our food. To our surprise, the waiter added in a 4.71 tip without asking, bringing our bill to 28.00+ for food we didn't eat. We will...
