My wife and I needed a washer and dryer, so I told her to find one online and I'd go buy it. She found one on their website and sent me a picture, so I went to the store. I thought the price seemed a little high for what it was, but we were so busy with trying to move and I didn't have much time to shop around, so after unsuccessfully attempting to talk the price down a little, I pulled the trigger at $420. I called my wife to tell her I got it done, but she was shocked that I'd paid 420 when the set was listed for 350 online. I had made the mistake of not checking the online price, just assuming she knew what they costed and thought it was a good enough deal for her. She wanted me to go back and try to talk to them about refunding the extra they'd charged me, but I told her this was my mistake as much as theirs and that I really should've confirmed the online price with her before buying. I told her there was a 90-day parts and labor contract, so at least we knew we'd have a working set. They also did deliver the set for free, which I appreciated. Then I hooked up the washer. The drain hose leaked all over the floor of our laundry room. I didn't know exactly where the water was coming from as it was both under the inside and outside of the washer, and I've never once worked on a washing machine and felt like it would be a bad idea for me to try to fix it, but I did what I could to allow us to drain the remaining water out of the washer. The next day, my wife called to ask if someone could come take a look at the thing for us. Whoever she talked to said they'd call her back later with a time that they could come out. When they called back, I answered and the same guy who sold and delivered the washer to me told me that he'd just mail me another drain hose. I told him I didn't know anything about washers and that I'd feel more comfortable if he would be the one to take a look because I was worried about another giant puddle of water causing damage to our apartment floor and his exact response was "it's two screws...," his way of telling me I'm an idiot and he's not going to help us or even apologize for his own mistake. He had been short with me throughout the entire process so at this point I finally just go "ok man," and that was that. They get two stars because I was able to get the thing working, and that's the only reason. Not because they honored their warranty, not because they were hospitable, and not because they gave us a good product. After the way they handled their supposed parts and labor warranty, I wouldn't be surprised if the price difference was intentional too. I'd never trust this place again after our...
Read moreOverall, we had a very bad experience with this company. In summary, their communication and customer service is very poor in terms of what they actually deliver and they repeatedly fumbled in keeping their word from delivery to the refund.
Ultimately, we got a broken 2022 French door fridge model that they failed to fix and they opted to provide a full refund to our relief (their warranty small print on the receipt excludes it). However, weeks passed and they never provided a refund and it took repeated calls to get them to issue it. They stated it had occurred a week prior and alleged it might have to do with recent fraud they were experiencing, but the refund receipt showed it had just been submitted (highly suspect).
The fridge was missing shelves so I had to order them on eBay, and the shelves it had needed cleaning, which took me some time because they had to be taken apart. My mistake for investing so soon, not knowing it would fail on us repeatedly. That time and money we wonât see back.
Also, We were fortunate we had a back-up fridge in the garage (the old one we were replacing) to use while waiting for them to fix ours and to get one that actually worked once they failed to do so.
Iâm generously rating them at a â2â (vs. a 1) ONLY because they did eventually make good on their end, but only after repeated calls to their store at every step, always answered by their solo âsales guyâ who repeatedly gave us incorrect information, gave us the run around with half-baked apologies and promises regarding delivery, repair and processing our refund.
Ultimately, for our family, it was not worth the attempted savings for all the hassle, stress, frustration and run around we went through.
We bought a new one from Loweâs and are happy with it, well worth the cost. While new ones can also fail, you can expect much better customer service from a reputable store than from this sketchy, jenky hole-in-the-wall used appliance operation. I gave them a chance and took the risk, and paid for it dearly. If you are married and/or have a family depending on working appliances, STRONGLY consider not...
Read moreDo not recommend. The woman that helped me out on a Saturday was wonderful. I bought a dryer that had just come in and she told me they would clean it up and deliver it on Monday. I got it on Monday, set it up Wednesday night. It was a little dirty on the outside, but that was easy to just wipe down. I double checked the lint trap and to my horror they hadn't even cleaned out the screen of the lint trap! I pulled out my vacuum and stuck it in the vent and pulled out a wad of lint bigger than a softball. Talk about fire hazard! Ugh! SO glad I checked.
I was very disappointed. I decided to give them a call and ask if there was a miscommunication; had I misheard when they said they were gonna clean it? I was told "Sorry about that, we can give you $20 or come out and clean it." The dryer itself was $214, for reference. I told them I may come pick up the $20 later since I had already cleaned it myself and it was installed up on a shelf so a PITA to get down (plus, what if they didn't clean it again???).
However, I thought it over and decided that I couldn't in good conscience write a bad review after taking the $20 (even though I really think they should have offered more, but maybe that's just me). So here I am, warning you to make sure the appliance they drop off at your house is actually clean and isn't a severe...
