so I posted a review and I had to rewrite it it got two sloppy so here goes prior to this new ownership there was a gentleman there you could tell it was time for him to retire so when I came in one day I saw new faces some familiar from the past which was nice and one thing that stood out the most was I guess the manager come to find out with this over the top comical big-time circus voice hello good morning which you know was a little weird but I paid no mind to it he wants to be comical comical all on CUSTOMER SERVICE reviews I didn’t care so I went in time out
now it’s the summer always when you go there you know it’s always pleasant staff amazing again manager always over-the-top comical after a while just to get a little annoying but what are you gonna do so I go in and I forget that I need a label I usually always have one printed but the management at UPS usually charge a dollar or two dollars
I figured it was gonna cost the same so I asked the manager how much does it cost to print the label and he said it was almost like four dollars and some change I was like excuse me I said for a piece of paper he replied it’s an 8 x 11 I said it’s a sheet of paper I could buy a box he goes buy a box and then print it at home condescending voice and arrogant Now because I’m white because later of course he had to play the racism go figure was so pathetic is actually disgusting but it’s OK let’s continue just had a principal I was not paying five dollars or four dollars and some change for a piece of paper so I took my dog and walked across the plaza to FedEx where Let me say everyone is amazing funny pleasant to go there and guess what to print a label it’s forty one cents not almost five dollars cents nothing comical or fake real people with GPS you feel like you’re walking into the circus I get the label
Didn’t even charge me and it was a label for another company didn’t even take my money at this point walking back I’m starting to feel nauseous it’s so hot you couldn’t breathe my dog is barely walking I get back to UPS I was so angry that he couldn’t even be like you know like give me 250 like you said the prices are so they’re don’t have to print labels becafthey don’t wanna work harder or more busy busy said they make this price so they’re not bothered with printing labels every day all day
so I guess that’s a little too hard for them to hit print and print the label I guess that’s too and I guess it takes a PhD level degree High school diploma I come back now he’s talking to me I’m annoyed and I told him who is your boss he goes I’m the boss boss I said everyone has a boss he goes that’s my brother and no matter what you say he’s not reading any of it why because I’m Read or be interested to know what a customer has to say about his establishment ,he said in such a condescending arrogant nasty way it was so disgusting that I told him when I leave I’m gonna post review
To tell a customer my brother is not gonna read what you write anyway we’re not entertain what you have to say it’s just rude so it’s OK for him to be despicable to me because up to that point I said nothing wrong except I just wanted to speak to the boss and then he turns around because I post something truthful and cries racism Give me a break that is beyond pathetic to even play that card that just shows the level of maturity this man has
Nowhere did I do anything that has to do with racism color nationality I spoke about what happened to me but of course because he probably couldn’t man up that he was rude to a customer he plays the racism card which is already old and pathetic
And then tell me I’m not allowed in the establishment for being racist I’m sorry what did I say that was so racist that he has a comical voice he does it’s so over the top like you’re in a circus and if you’re so up on CUSTOMER SERVICE How did you help the customer except be condescending to the person that they’re not worth your brothers time the big owner and the customer told him I’m gonna walk and he goes go 24 despicable as a UPS...
Read moreHonestly, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES use this location if you have other options. The owner is horrible. First and foremost, the customer service is beyond unacceptable. I’ve seen people get into shouting matches with USPS workers that went more civilly than what I saw and experienced At this location.
Secondly, don’t ask for any extras. Have all of your packages sealed, prepaid, and bring your own tape. Make sure you do this at minimum. They’re a business they need to make money. So not only will the charge you a literal arm and a leg everything they have is marked up beyond reason. 12 USD for a disposable roll of tape, that same tape is 3.79 at target and maybe 7 bucks at a gas station.
Be prepared to receive awful service - An owner/manager of a business should never serve attitude, back talk, disrespect, or take a perpetual condescending tone to people that are buying and paying for your services. I saw all of this in a span of 5 minutes at this location. The associates are poorly trained which leads to slow service and frustrated customers. The manager exacerbates issues rather than solving problems and is highly condescending in how he talks to people.
God forbid, in an area with highly Asian and Hispanic clientele, that you come in with a heavy accent or struggle with English. He will “HUH” “what are you saying ?!” “I can’t help you if you can’t speak ENGLISH, sir” you to the death. I was incensed at how the staff and the manager was speaking to an older Korean Gentleman, and then he complained about his english. He then diverted his attention to me about weighing my package on his scale. At that point, it was just time to leave.
Between the nonchalant clueless employees and awful management, this is the worst UPS store I’ve ever been to in my life. STAY AWAY, or if you must go, proceed with Caution and come prepared with all of your own equipment if you don’t want to get bent...
Read moreI would never go back to this location again. I had the most horrible experience there today. I was trying to ship back a vacuum to Amazon. I assume, the manager was trying to upsell me almost a $100 service for a box and them packaging. Then he sold me a bigger box, not the one I asked about and had to reverse the transaction to the box I asked about twice. It took me less than 5 minutes to pack everything and the genuinely nice girl took care of me. I don’t know where manager was trained but this is the phoniest, non human behavior I’ve encountered. I’ve only seen something like this in a movie when a “super nice” guys asks you “how can I help you today” and silently hates you. If you want to get into a universe of absolute insanity where they kill you with a smile and a mocking voice of being sugary nice, go there. You will never see anything like this anywhere else. To give you an example, I asked about the certain box and the guy at the register, I understand he is the manager, completely ignored me and then tried to upsell me the box packing. 🚩Ignoring the customer, doing what he thinks is right.
Then, he did something exceptionally mean. You have to see and to feel it to understand. He said to the young girl who was initially helping me, “ring up the box”. (Mind you, the wrong box I didn’t ask about) After she rings up the box, he tells her “Before you ring up the box, go in the back and check if the boxes are still stocked, because if they aren’t, how will you help the lady here?”. A major setup and disrespect for colleague 🚩 Why wouldn’t you tell her that before if you did want to help? Why did you tell her to ring up that box? To be such a good, useful guys because now you did a good job doing the money return for the wrong box? And all of this masked up by the phoniest, artificial desire to help.
