Full Review: A Sweet Stop Worth Repeating From the moment you walk in, the donut shop sets the tone with warm, sugary aromas and a cozy atmosphere that invites you to slow down and take it all in. This isn't just a place to grab a quick pastry — it’s the kind of spot that turns a simple donut run into a genuinely pleasant experience.
🍩 Donuts: Crafted, Not Just Made
The donuts here are more than good — they’re impressive. Each one feels carefully crafted, with a texture that hits the perfect balance: slightly crisp on the outside, soft and airy inside. Nothing tasted mass-produced or stale. Everything screamed fresh.
Highlights from the menu include:
The classic glazed — simple, but executed flawlessly. Not overly sweet, just light, shiny, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Seasonal or signature flavors — creative without trying too hard. Think maple bacon, lemon lavender, or cookie butter — rich, well-balanced, and actually delivering the flavors they promise. Filled donuts — generously packed with custards, jams, or chocolate, never skimped, and evenly distributed so every bite hits just right. Even after sampling a few, nothing felt greasy or overly heavy. You leave satisfied, not weighed down.
☕ Service: Warm, Efficient, and Genuine
The staff here adds a layer of comfort that makes the experience even better. You’re greeted as soon as you walk in, but there’s no pressure or rush. The team is clearly knowledgeable about the menu and eager to recommend favorites — not in a salesy way, just friendly and helpful.
Orders come out quickly, even when the shop is busy, and everything is delivered with a smile. You get the sense that the employees actually enjoy being there — and that energy is infectious.
🧼 Wellness & Vibe: Clean, Calm, and Well-Maintained
The overall environment of the shop is a big part of what makes it special. It’s bright without being sterile, and cozy without feeling cramped. Tables are clean, the floor is spotless, and even the restrooms are well-kept — a detail many places overlook.
There’s a quiet buzz of conversation and light music in the background, making it an ideal spot to take a break, enjoy your coffee, and just breathe. Whether you're meeting up with a friend or taking a solo moment for yourself, the space encourages you to linger — in the best way.
⭐ Final Thoughts This donut shop checks all the boxes: exceptional food, kind and capable service, and a space that feels welcoming from the moment you step through the door. It's clear the people behind it take pride not just in what they serve, but in how they serve it.
If you're looking for donuts that taste as good as they look — in a place that feels like a little pocket of calm — this one is absolutely worth your time.

Read moreA unique addition to the crowded bakery scene in Fort Lee! I've heard of its grand opening outside Manhattan and was excited to try this spot - I was there about the 2nd week after their opening. I. ATMOSPHERE (5/5) It has an attractive, small store front and as soon as you walk in, you're greeted with wafting scent of freshly baked bread interspersed with aroma of the coffee. Menus are clear and brightly lit, and many beautiful baked goods line their display cases, especially their Bombolones in front and cakes, the Italian answer to american donuts, colorful and dazzling. They even have an immaculate & inviting sitting room in the back that could probably accommodate about 20 people if you want to sit to enjoy.
II. FOOD (3/5) We didn't try too many things - just one pistachio bombolones & a breakfast croissant sandwich, with a cafe latte. My sandwich was a bit dry and just OK - I think croissant was probably not the most fresh as it flaked off too much. But this isn't their forte. Bombolones however was really good, and not overly sweet as most donuts are. Chewy and had just right amount of filling. A bit pricey though, but you need to remember it's not donuts (haha). Latte was fragrant, and I loved that it wasn't overpriced ($3.25 for L) like you know where with the green mermaid.
III. SERVICE (2/5) Honestly a bit slow and put the wrong coffee in initially, but don't new employees all do so? I'm sure they will get faster and more efficient, so this did not bother me too much as they're still in honeymoon stages. I'm very excited for Angelina - definitely coming back to try their beautiful pastries and cakes, even a coffee with friend, & I'm also excited that they have reasonably-priced lunch menu like Mushroom Risotto ($12.50), Cacio e Pepe ($12.95) and Apple Bacon Salad ($12.95)

Read moreWell, this is a very small place. It has only 4 tables in the sitting area although very clean and looks nice.
About the food: Me and my friend tasted several things. The ham & cheese focaccia, the Oreo cheesecake, the pastries shaped like fruits, the butter cookies and the chai latte. With this order we had a complementary try of the watermelon and I think it was lemon icey.
Ham & cheese focaccia was nice, just needed more time in the oven.
The complementary Icey, I'm sorry but that was VERY underwhelming. They both tasted like cleaners.
The chai was a little watery (I don't know if they don't put enough or maybe it was the oat milk).
The fruits pastries: we got the raspberry (that was AMAZING) and the lemon, which was very good as well but the filling more on the sour side (to me was also amazing but I don't know if people would expect it).
Butter cookies with sprinkles: soft and sugary, very nice as well.
The service was also very good. They were very polite and the girl who took our order was bilingual so when my friend was asking me in Spanish about the milks, she made sure to answer and give her all the information needed.
Overall a nice place to try. Next time we'll go for the croissants...
