We visited this store, picked up another Starbucks brand tumbler (which I use everyday) off the shelf, went up to the register, but the cashier could not scan. Manager named BG Baughey-Gill showed up and said that the tumbler cannot be sold because it is defective and it is on a recall. I told BG Baughey-Gill that I use the same exact tumbler everyday, and I needed to know about the recall. BG Baughey-Gill said that the register screen says "item cannot be sold due to quality issues." I asked her to show me the screen, obviously, the screen showed nothing about the "quality issue." When I confronted about this lie, BG Baughey-Gill quickly said that there was an email about the recall. I demanded her to show me the email and she refused.
IF a product is on a recall, it should not be on the shelf. In this case, store manager BG Baughey-Gill should be responsible for improper stocking. IF a product is on a recall, the store or the company should explain specifics about a product, and inform customer accordingly. Again, in this case store manager BG Baughey-Gill failed to inform such specifics, but instead she lied about register screen, and refused to show/explain about the email about the recall. When dealing with such sensitive issue like recall, customer must be treated with sincerity and care, instead, store manager BG Baughey-Gill was consistently giggling and talking in condescending tone.
I left the store feeling violated and mistreated. I am an Asian-American, and I clearly felt that I was being discriminated by this Caucasian manager, BG Baughey-Gill. I can still see her face looking down at me, and hear...
Read moreIt locates inside the Linwood plaza, next to the H-mart supermarket and Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant. There are no sofa chairs in the store and the store needs an update badly. The Latte is always too milky and little foam like milk coffee :(
Also beware of that the boss barista refuses to refill the coffee or tea if you purchase any handcrafted beverage other than regular brewed coffee or tea. Even people showed him the "How do free refills work?" web page from Starbucks. He just ignored people and kept saying that he has been a barista for 4 years and ....
In Starbucks web site, it says: "When you use your registered Starbucks Card or Mobile app to purchase any handcrafted beverage and then present that same Starbucks Card or Mobile app, you can get free refills of brewed coffee (hot, Iced Coffee or Cold Brew), and tea (hot, or iced) during the same store visit regardless of the original beverage..."
I hope they will fix this refill mistake soon, because I am their loyal customer and stock holder, and I hate to see they lose loyal customers with this inconsistent...
Read moreI often buy coffee here on my way to work. You have to wait a long time even if you order through mobile. Besides, every days and every times are jagged, and the barista skills are inconsistent. Nonetheless, i can just drink it. It's not even tasteless every time, I can't stop going because it's the closest place to work. ------------------------------------------------------------When I order, it doesn't come as ordered. I like white chocolate macadamia cold brew very much, so if I order it in extra form, it is served differently from other Starbucks stores. I've never been given the right coffee. Even if you ask for it again, they give you the same. I know you're busy in the morning, but I'd like you to check the order slip and...
