Sweet Treats - Ice Cream & Milkshakes (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) — Attraction in Fort Oglethorpe

We normally love this place and my family goes here all the time, but today we got my daughter a graham central station milkshake and she drank a little of it and told me something was wrong with it. I tried it to see what she meant, and it tastes like Ajax or laundry powder. Not like maybe a little soap residue from cleaning or something but like there’s got to be a LOT of soap/cleaner in there. It definitely has a high soap content whatever made it in this milkshake. I don’t know if maybe a blender was being cleaned by some kind of tablet cleaner and a big chunk made it into the milkshake or perhaps some kind of tablet or powder cleaner got into that batch of ice cream during production, (the soap in it was gritty soap/cleaner powder) but I’m on my way to the ER with her because poison control advised us to watch this very closely and I’m too nervous to wait around. She vomited profusely a few minutes ago after about 20 minutes of drinking it. (imagine literally eating a piece of a tide pod, the soap was that strong) I still have the rest of milkshake so I’m hoping we find out what’s in it somehow. If this is a production issue I’ll take this review down because I know that things like that can be out of your hands, but please investigate this guys. First time and will be the last time waited over 20 minutes and by the time my 2 other sundaes were made my first ice cream was the stuffed peanut butter it was melting everywhere then they told me they would put it in a black bag really so i could have plastic as a topping okay an now the cherry on top of that melting sundae is my wife got sick off the ice cream it was past hot and why do u ask she ate it cuz for 4 icecreams is over 30 dollars so it was gonna come out one end anyway wasn't expecting where it went in at nice 32 dollars for the wait an barf flavored ice cream sooooo swwwweet i love it !!! Oh not to mention I was the the only 1 in there and it took that long!! But hey I got a souvenir I got a lifetime glass cup for over 30 dollars ahh make that 2 people sick 🤢 now my mother is currently sick from that icecream now thanks alot for the expensive ice cream...

The moment we walked in, everything just felt so welcoming. The place was kept nice and cleaned. There were so many ice cream flavors to choose from and so many different dishes you could get. I got the “Brookie Dough Blast” stuffed bowl and it was AMAZING. The pictures on the wall were super cute and fitting for the atmosphere, and i loved the quote as well, because ice cream does indeed make everything better. The employees were super nice and welcoming, and overall, the experience was just awesome. If you’re ever in this area, you should definitely check this place out.
