Michaels — Local services in Fort Oglethorpe

Based on a previous experience with this Michael's location, I came in for them to provide custom framing for a college diploma. From the moment I walked in & made contact with Tricia (Merchandise Manager) & Annette (Store Manager) ... I knew I was in good hands. I had brought in the previous diploma framed here -- in hopes of matching, since the two would hang side-by-side. That frame was no longer available, so these fine, talented ladies assisted in finding a new design ... and with a great sale price, I was able to not only have them frame the new diploma, but "re-frame" the older one ... so the two would match ... & at an affordable price. When I picked the pieces up - I was blown away with the absolutely PERFECT framing they had done. I am beyond happy with my experience at the Ft Oglethorpe, GA Michaels ... thanks to Tricia & Annette. Sad excuse for customer service I bought 4 lemax village houses there. One didn't come with the lights, now I know they use these for the displays sometimes and that's not a big deal I figured I would just stop in and tell them I needed one of my lights. Well when I asked I was told I would have to bring the whole thing back in through the cashier. The manager wouldn't even see me. I live 20 minutes away that's another 40 minute for a $2 light bulb. When I demanded to speak to the manager she had me wait 10 minutes then sent an associate to talk to me. When me and the associate was trying to find the light bulb the manager finally came over and ignored me and only spoke to the associate told her to just get me a light out of another house. Don’t have curb side pick up if you aren’t going to do it . I sat in the parking lot for 35 minutes just for nobody to come out . It’s crazy because I let them know that I was on my way before I had even got there. Nobody was even in the parking lot. When I walked in the girl at the register was just standing there with her scanner doing nothing . When i told her i had been waiting for 35 minutes she said sorry and rolled her eyes in the process. Therefore I don’t recommend curbside pick up. It’s pointless. If i had know i would’ve just gone in and purchased the products myself . The only reason i utilized the curbside it because my products were on sale online and my baby was in the car and i didn’t want to get her out...
