Fire Station Community Center — Attraction in Fort Worth

I rented out the gym for a birthday party. I was misquoted twice. My setup times was rented on 3 times. Then I was told "I didn't say that". Your going to tell me what you said directly to me on 2 occasions you didn't. I was told I had to pay the balance the day of the party but when i went in to setup the rental I had to pay the deposit and after I paid that is when I was told you have to pay this Saturday. Well you should disclosed that before i paid. I understand completely why the firestation community center has issues with rentals. Giving people 15 minutes to setup is absurd. Having people to clean up during their party time is absurd. How would you feel going to an event or party and told the last hour or 30 minutes hey you have to clean up now so you can leave at your alloted time, everyone com on lets get ready to leave. Front desk staff not rude but not very personal or helpful. A large building with plenty of staff directing a lot of children durring the days activities. Chaos in all directions with children occupying every room with their activities. I got the feel it was just a drop off daycare for children. Nothing like the multigenerational centers found in the next state over "New Mexico". In the end my day-visit to this particular center was a little disappointing but still a great place to drop off your children for some...

I went here to vote and the staff were friendly. There was no line when I went. Small parking lot but plenty of street parking. The building itself is very small but they had signs with proposals for remodeling, which would be great! Happy to have this place in Fairmount - I know they do lots...
