Fort Worth Actors Studio — Attraction in Fort Worth

After years of mustering up the courage needed, I finally committed to attending an actors workshop. My experience with Fort Worth Actors Studio can only be described as “FANTASTIC!”

I learned so much during our Boot Camp. The patient and detailed style of our instructor (Nathan Myers) made my experience comfortable, safe and energetic.

The cost for a 3 day beginners experience was $200. In return I received approx.16 hours of detailed and personalized instruction on technics regarding Audition etiquette, cold reading and much, much more. I also received over 40 minutes of personal camera footage that was shot during boot camp. Most of that footage had corrective coaching that I can watch over and over for practice and reference. Needless to say, i was incredibly lucky as I got the deal of a lifetime!!!

I like to do my homework before I make a purchase and every wonderful thing I heard and read about Nathan and this studio came true. This place is very special and I recommend it to those that respect the art of acting.

You will leave his class with a little “buzz”.....it’s a high fueled by confidence/knowledge.

If I could give this studio ten stars I would! I just attended their cold read boot camp and I can say they are very passionate about their craft. I took this course to get better at public speaking and after just three days, I was more confident than toastmasters had ever made me.

They truly work to create a safe and welcoming environment. I have no acting experience whatsoever and never once felt like I was looked down upon. In fact, my husband said I came home beaming every night! I had so much confidence after this course and I can’t thank them enough!

I never leave reviews but I took the time to write this because for the money they charge, you get at least double that value in information and experience. I highly recommend the boot camp for anyone that might have social anxiety or fear of public speaking or of course, if you want to pursue acting in any form. This course has truly made me a more confident person overall! I will be going back to check out the voice over classes as well because I am officially intrigued...

Fort Worth Actors Studio offers actors and non-actors alike a safe space to hone their craft, learn new techniques, and overcome the fear of being on camera. The classes are taught by WORKING PROFESSIONALS who have been on both sides of the camera and have extensive knowledge regarding the local acting market. I took the Cold Read Bootcamp and not only did the class learn and practice the techniques of cold reading (everyone gets in front of the camera), but we also learned what's expected of us when going to a real audition (i.e.. how to be the consummate professional). I loved the diversity of the students in my bootcamp, from teens to adults and working actors to first-timers. It didn't matter whatsoever, because Nathan runs his classes in such a professional manner that everyone understands that we're there to learn and respect each other.
