Trinity Park Duck Pond — Attraction in Fort Worth

Hi there, I have summarised about the Trinity park for the first time visitors ,hope its helpful.

Nice trail park located very close to I-35 and is located in Forthworth Downtown. Nearby attractions if you are planning for a day are Forthworth Water gardens/Sundance square & Forthworth Stockyards. Do carry water bottles as there are not much water fountains nearby *Ample parking is available but weekends and holidays might get crowded so arrive early to grab a spot. *Kindly be courteous to birds and others and don't overfeed them. If you wanna take pic with ducks, stay grounded near the pond ,the ducks shall cross by. *Biking trails are available around the river park *There's an sot where you can cross the Trinity river through rocks, extend caution as some of them are slippery.

We used to go here several nights a week a few years ago just for the peaceful environment but life happened and we stopped unfortunately. But I needed some peace and a quite place to be with my thoughts and thud place instantly came back into my mind. Absolutely love this area. It's literally right in the middle of everything yet seems so disconnected from the city at the same time but in a good way. Later at night tends to be a little creepy if your by yourself simply because it is pretty dark as there aren't a ton of bright lights everywhere which is nice for the ducks I'm sure. Bring a friend and a flashlight if you are a night owl like myself! Also don't feed the ducks bread, contrary to popular belief, it's actually pretty harmful to them. A great space to chill/go on a walk, to be outside with a friend or friends! I love taking my bike to this park the trails will keep you safely off the roadways from the crazy Texas drivers! Also, a lot of space to set up any type of activities like slack lines or aerial/pole equipment. Basketball court near by as well as kayak ramp (I do not suggest paddle boards or canoes). Picnics and covered picnic areas are close by, as well as some really awesome kids playgrounds! The swing set is right here, but the renovated kids playground is about half a mile walk away, definitely worth taking your children to, wish we has cool playgrounds like the new one here!!!
