This is always a great stop and walk and stretch the legs. Before you go. Stop by a feed store and pick up a few pounds of her scratch for like 40 cents a pound. Then go to the duck pond here at Trinity park and feed the ducks. Please do not take bread! Bread is bad for the birds and the pond. Not to mention the bags that the bread is in. They always end up in the pond and they kill the turtles! Please be kind to the animals. No bread no plastic bags and have fun. You can take drinks but there are also water fountains around the park. As for the hen scratch. It's best for the ducks and birds as well as the turtles. Bread is bad. It forms nasty films on water surfaces. It also roots on the bottom of pond and causes nasty Algae. It does no good for the ducks also. It can actually cause the ducks to get I'll and when they eat bread they get filled up on it and when others come out to feed correct foods they will not want to eat in turn causing them to lack proper nutrition from good foods that help them out on weight for winter. Bread does no good so please feed them correct feeds. You can research proper feeds for them and I've heard cracked corn can cause the ducks to overheat in hot weather. I've been feeding scratch for the mix of seeds. Each bird gets to eat seeds they like as well as the ducklings. You can get starter feed also for ducklings. Have fun and behind to the...

The path itself is very nice. There aren’t a lot of cracks. It’s perfect for walking, jogging, biking, or rollerblading. The path features bridges, beautiful trees, and cute squirrels.
Along the path you will find a few playgrounds. One of the playgrounds is the Dream playground. It is huge and has lots of things to play with. The other is the Trinity Playground. It is way smaller and has less things. Both are well maintained and fun.
You will also find a basketball court. The basketball court features gorgeous graffiti artwork and a colorful Court. Perfect for some basketball.
This is also a great place to hold events. Mayfest is held here annually. This park is open to everyone. When I went there was a Pride event. There are tons of places to set up. You just have to get a permit.
The duck pond is my personal favorite. It has geese and cute ducks. There is also a rock mountain. It leads down to the Kayak Launch. There is more I haven’t mentioned. That’s how big this place is.
Tldr: beautiful park with tons of fun places to go. 5/5⭐️...
Read moreIf you're looking for a convenient location to stretch out and take a brisk walk, look no further. Trinity park is unlike any other park on Fort Worth. Although certain parts do see more pedestrian traffic and family cookouts, there are still some areas of the park that offer peace and quite for those who need to get some fresh air on the way home from work. This park offers many great amenities such as picnic tables, playgrounds, and grilling platforms for cookouts. They have portable lavatories and a miniature train ride for the kiddos. Some people come here to run, bike, or if your brave you can kayak in the river. There's plenty of water fountains through the main path equipped with pet-friendly dispensers as well. The only negatives to this park is the cleanliness at times. I think it could be a lot better if visitors would pick up after themselves better, but other than that I think this place...
