Our church has a brief 8:00 a.m. worship service there every Easter morning, informal, welcoming, usually only about 25 or 30 people. We go down near the river by the gazebo -- a beautiful place. We always appreciate the courtesy of passing cyclists. We go there because ours was the first church in Fort Worth. In 1855 they worshipped near the river on the grounds of the old fort.
