Recently my family and I decided to visit our FAVORITE brunch spot to kick off the day, it being my son’s birthday. According to the guidelines on yelp we have to be 20 miles away to get on the waitlist, we added our party once we 20 miles away. When we arrived in the parking lot, we were in 7th place, after about 20 minutes we dropped down to number 2 and then we were somehow removed from the waitlist without any notification of our table being ready. My wife went inside to see why and she was given attitude and sly remarks by the hostess. STRIKE 1.
We frequently visit this location because we don’t like dealing with the Dallas traffic. Once our table was finally ready, instead of taking us to our upstairs table the hostess pointed it out, “It’s like that 3rd table, you can just go there.” WHAT????? This wouldn’t have been a problem besides the fact she walked every other party to their assigned table. STRIKE 2!
Here’s the icing on the cake. Once we found our table by ourselves, we sat there for about 15 minutes before our server Emma finally greeted us. We ordered some drinks for the kids and drinks for ourselves. The first set of drinks came back in about 5 minutes. We did notice her checking on her other guests along the way. So we didn’t mind. We ordered meals for the whole table and 2 shots for my wife and I. We had an aerial view of the service well from our table and watched when the bartender poured our shots. Since Emma was standing right next to the well talking to another server we figured our shots would be here soon, we were wrong. Emma walked away from the shots and walked back upstairs to one of her prior tables. If she had something in her hand going to the table I wouldn’t be annoyed, but she was twiddling her thumbs the entire way, then skipped our table and went to check on another table. While she was talking to that table, one of the servers working downstairs noticed our shots that have been sitting on the well for 15 minutes. He read the ticket, looked up and we immediately made eye contact and he brought us our shots. Finally Emma came to check on us. We asked her to please have the kids food come out first please, her reply was, “Ok but we like to have all the food come out at one time.” Then she walks away. WHAT? Not only is that answer just wrong, she doesn’t go to the kitchen at all. She goes to the host stand where she starts a conversation with the Manager On Duty: Erin. As they are talking and having a conversation, our food is brought out. Emma then comes about 5 minutes after and checks on us, getting our last minute needs to enjoy our meal. That was the last we saw of Emma for the next 30 minutes. I had to ask the busser to get a manager for me, he didn’t even pay me any attention. My wife then went downstairs and asked the guy who brought our shots to get the manager. As she was walking back Emma made her way to the table and I asked her to get a manager as well. After they pointed out that Erin was the manager we began to time her response. She was behind the bar, then she went to the host stand where she met Emma and the hostess. During their “fact-finding “ conversation Emma and the host began looking upstairs in our direction and laughing as if we were the butt of some joke. WHAT????? STRIKE 3! Once Erin made her way to us it was evident she didn’t care and just wanted the problem resolved. We gave her our complaints and they were going in one ear and out the other. She did offer us a discount but that wasn't necessary, we wanted to be heard and understood. We asked for her boss but apparently Marsha the GM was busy helping in the kitchen.
As I said we love this company, the location, the ambience, WE LOVE THE FOOD! We don’t appreciate being treated that way. We will return eventually but we will call first to make sure Emma and Erin aren’t...
Read moreWill preface with I love Snooze and have been eating at several locations for years. Unfortunately, this location is now the closest to me since re-locating. This is not the first time having issues here, but it became apparent at this visit what the underlying issue is. The GM Marsha here should ABSOULTELY not be in this job. She is obviously miserable and has zero problems taking it out on her employees AND the patrons here.
After waiting almost an hour for our "appetizers",while watching several tables come and go, they arrived and 1 of the 2 were incorrect. We asked our waiter just to take it off the bill and waited for our entrees. Then when the entrees finally arrived (both tacos), only 1 plate was warm, and the other were not just cold, but the eggs were already hardened. So we unfortunately had to ask for a manager to rectify the situation while assuring the waiter we knew it wasn't him as he looked totally defeated when we did. We found out why pretty quickly when she arrived as she made it immediately clear she was irritated she had to even talk to us, much less had any concern as to what happened. While telling her what happened, I barely had 2 sentences in and she began rolling her eyes and stopped me mid-sentence, scoffed and said "yeah, so what do you want me to do about it?"
Never in my life have I ever had to tell a manager a simple apology and we'll get you a fresh order right out was all we needed. You'd think that would be enough, but then she then started arguing about the canceled appetizer we didnt even bring up! Threw more attitude until I finally matched her horrible energy and had to ask why I'm getting an attitude from her. Only then when she realized I would match her rudeness and not tolerate her absolutely unnecessary bullying tactics, did she back off and offer to fix it. Our poor waiter saw the whole thing and immediately apologized for the interaction and said he wished he could do more.
Fortunately for her, she was smart enough to have another manager who is actually capable of doing her job back with the corrected food. I honestly felt bad for the other manager as I have no doubts that Marsha is a serial offender of upsetting patrons and then sending others to deal with her messes. However, Aiyana was the complete opposite, professional, and understanding. She is the only reason we may even consider going back to this location, but if that happens it will not be for a long while.
For a franchise that was built on tolerance and acceptance, Marsha has zero place being there. When you have employees who are obviously afraid to ask their manager for help that is 100% unacceptable. And for a manager to think she can treat patrons like garbage, I can only assume how horrible she really is to the employees there who make her salary. I really hope Snooze cooperate looks into this location as she is a huge stain on their otherwise amazing reputation.
And no, in case you are wondering, I am not affiliated with, nor am a jaided prior employee, or have ever been employed nor have any stake with with company. But I could not stand by and let this go as someone needs to speak up in hopes that her reign of terror is addressed for nothing more than the her poor co-workers and future patrons who are led to believe this is acceptable behavior.
I will conclude with the food (once received correctly) was up to the amazing standards we are used to from Snooze as a whole. Its just no longer worth the 30 mile drive for great food when you are treated so poorly. This is the epitome of what happens when you let someone only concerned about themselves and...

Going on a weekend? Use the website link here on Google Maps to get on the waiting list before you leave the house. The wait can be up to an hour if you don't. We got there and checked in and were seated within 5 minutes.
Excellent service starts the minute you walk through the door. It's a good idea to have had a look at their menu before you go. So many tasty options, make your plan so you don't miss out.
Some restaurants specialize in homestyle, cooking or more innovative brunch dishes. This one specializes in all of that. Whether you want something very different from anything you've ever had or just a standard breakfast. From vegan to meat lovers, Snooze has something for you! The very best is to go with a group of people that don't mind sharing a taste from all of their dishes. I went with my family so they know how this works! Mom pays the bill and gets the "Mom Tax" taste. 🤣
We started our brunch with the pancake sampler. Three pancakes, each very different. 1 Strawberry Shortcake, 1 Pineapple Upside Down, and 1 Chocolate Cookie Dough which was the Pancake of the Week. Each pancake has a corresponding compound flavored butter and syrup. Our group of 5 really enjoyed the sampler as a starter. We also ordered the Bacon But Better from the "For The Table" section and the Habanero Pork Belly from the sides. We wanted to try as many of their flavors as possible!
For our individual dishes we had the Shrimp and Grits, homestyle cheesy grits loaded with sautéed shrimp, Andouille sausage, house-made savory soffrito, topped with a sunny-side up cage-free egg. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Corned Beef Hash and eggs had grass-fed, dry-rubbed corned beef, caramelized poblanos and onions. Served with two eggs and your choice of toast or tortillas. Giant chunks of the corned beef. Super tasty. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Huevos Tostada with crispy corn tostada shells layered with house black beans, Jack cheese, and house-made green chile and ranchero sauces. Topped with two eggs, cotija cheese, scallions and house-made pickled peppers. We added on barbcoa shredded beef and were quite happy with choice. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Monte Cristo French features French toast dipped brioche smeared with house-made raspberry pepper jam. Topped with Havarti and Gruyere cheeses, shaved ham, a sunny-side up cage-free egg, crispy prosciutto, and chives. Served with a side of raspberry pepper jam and house-made Dijon citronette, candied pecans, strawberries and Parmesan-dressed greens. Served open faced, this one is on their "Fall seasonal menu". Limited time availability ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Habanero Pork Belly Breakfast Fried Rice features jasmine fried rice with seared cider-braised habanero pork belly, sautéed red bell peppers, onions, poblanos, carrots and pineapple. Topped with a drizzle of the house-made Sriracha maple aioli, two crispy sunny-side up eggs, scallions and kimchi spice. Not super spicy but does have a little kick! 🌶️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was the only one to have a cocktail. The Boozy Blackberry Mint Limeade is a refreshing concoction of Vodka, Fresh Blackberries, Blackberry Syrup, Lime Juice, Mint Simple and Sparkling Water. Not too sweet, not too tart. The blackberry bits floating remind me of boba pearls only healthy. Perfect drink for the health conscious 😎 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
