The Gaming Vault is an absolute gem for retro and modern gaming fans alike. Every game in the store is clean, tested, and authentic—no junk, no fakes. The owner is clearly passionate and incredibly knowledgeable about games, which makes shopping here feel more like chatting with a fellow gamer than just making a purchase.

The store itself is beautiful, packed with vintage advertising and one-of-a-kind kiosks (seriously, who else has a Pepsi Plantation One kiosk?!). The selection runs from Atari all the way up to PS5, all laid out in an easy, shopper-friendly way. Beyond games, they’ve got all the accessories you need to keep your consoles running—extra controllers for that last-minute Smash Bros. tournament included. Pricing is very fair across the board.

Trade-ins here are handled the right way—fair, transparent, and with respect for the value of your collection. This isn’t GameStop; they take care of you. On top of games, they also carry Warhammer, TCGs, and tabletop supplies, with a cool campaign room in the back for your next adventure.

I travel often and visit a lot of game stores, and The Gaming Vault stands out as one of the best I’ve ever seen. If you’re anywhere in the DFW area, this store is a must-visit. Be sure to follow their social media too—they’re always posting their latest trades and deals.

Bottom line: The Gaming Vault isn’t just a store—it’s...

I was greeted with a smile at the door and offered assistance to find the items I was shopping for. I’m unfamiliar with some of the items my kids want for Christmas but the owner was very helpful - taking his time to help me select the products I needed. He even suggested another product that I wasn’t shopping for but me and the kids ended up really liking. You can tell how proud the man was of his store by how clean and organized the entire place was. All of his items were in great condition, free of clutter and dust.

He’s got some rare items that collectors and enthusiasts are certainly in search of, so if you’re looking for niche items be sure to give him a ring.

The whole place smells great including the (card game rooms) and the restroom. The aesthetic was really cool and the overall vibe was class. Very comfortable and welcoming.

He’s got a schedule of events, the way I understood it was that he hosts card game tournaments throughout the month where you can go in and compete in friendly matches. Check his socials for details:

We drove a long way to come here. While their shelf of games is extremely meticulously laid out, it's really unprofessional to have a large table up front when you already have rooms available for the customers. It was impossible to even look at the selection of games because the table up front full of people. Why not just keep the tables in the back and you could even charge a small fee, it's really awesome to have those rooms already and way better than most places. but if your gonna sell stuff to the public then I would recommend to remove that table. It could also allow more retail space. I would definitely revise my review if I saw this fixed, as this review is mostly to let the boss know about it. Why give up your valuable retail space to a bunch of people that aren't paying? Thanks to the owner for replying.i have revised my star rating. I would like to come...

The Gaming Vault is number one when it comes to personalized customer service in gaming stores in the Fort Worth area. This store offers a little bit of everything, from classic gaming to the cutting edge, and even tabletop gaming. This store has good selection, great prices, and a very cool vibe. But the best part of shopping at The Gaming Vault is that the owner, Matt, is super chill and friendly, knowledgeable, and knows how to make a customer happy. I will definitely be shopping here in the future! Quick update: this is still my favorite gaming store. I have visited many in the DFW area, but no one else has the customer service and friendly atmosphere that Gaming Vault has. Also, if you're a collector of classic games, this store stocks many titles and has the cleanest, nicest pieces. No busted cases, missing artwork, etc. Great value here.
