This is NOT store front. They have one column of shelves with the grow kits and supplies within a large hydroponic store. The liquid cultures pricing was almost $10 higher in store than online. I cannot attest to the employees as I do not know if the men working there had anything to do with the actual Monster Mushroom Company. We drove over an hour in Saturday Denver traffic. There was not a “located inside xxx.” We bought an oyster liquid culture and left. I wish it’d been more transparent about the location not actually being there. It was like Google having a Starbucks “storefront” when it is actually Starbucks in the refrigerated section inside of a Target. I followed every instruction, filmed proof, and in late March 2025 the company admitted the contamination was on their side, not mine. They promised a refund or replacement since it affected many customers, not just me.
After the company changed hands, the new owner told me in August he’d replace the boxes “in good faith.” Now it’s mid-September, and instead of keeping his word, he’s dodging my messages. Worse, he’s started manipulating the language — saying it happened “a year ago,” when in reality it was only half a year ago. That kind of wordplay feels like an excuse not to honor the promise.
