My kids (8, 10, 11) love this hike. It's steep at the beginning and erosion has made the climb tricky in spots. Definitely worth the views of your don't mind the climb.
Suggestions: Sign at beginning says "Not dog friendly". I would agree. Go on a cloudy day or later in the day. It gets HOT with no shade around.
