  • Service here was amazing, but please read this review if you are a female !!! **

This is a terrific place to drink and eat !! those burgers were good and definitely one of the best in Colorado!!! The bartending girls there are terrific and did an amazing job in protecting my drink if I had to go to the restroom when I was sitting at the bar and was watching after me as well! I still give this place a five star review, even though I had a very unpleasant experience with a particular individual at this place ...... one night a couple of nights ago when I was visiting alone,( and I usually visit with a group friends and we do a girl trip here to Colorado all the time )however, I decided to travel alone to Colorado from Texas and when I did, I wounded up here in this fantastic bar however, one person ruined the night for me, and it was all because of jealousy and rejection and then he quickly put my life in danger for a brief moment, and I am very thankful that I was taken care of immediately by the people that were there that knew what happened and by the bartenders as well! Thank you guys so much and ladies please please be aware of the individual that is in the picture that I will be uploading with this review. This place is a terrific place to visit and I will consider visiting but this time with my friends when we go on another girl trip back to Colorado sometime soon in the winter! Please stay safe and check out this bar and...

Is this the best place for a pre or post Red Rocks show drink? I think so. Honestly though, it's probably awesome for drinks (and burgers, let's not forget those) any time.

Sir Nicholas and I stopped here on our way to see Ryan Adams just a few weeks ago and I was really impressed with how much local goodness they stock. Not only did they have Colorado beers, but they also carried local spirits and even a couple of local wines. That was definitely more than I was expecting.

The food ordering had to be explained to us as they don't actually make and serve the food; rather it comes from Mill Street Eats, which is attached. You basically go through the adjoining doorway, place your order, get a number, and the food place brings your order to you. However, you don't have to clean up or take your stuff back to the food place as the bartenders do that for you. Also, you guys, tater tots. TATER TOTS. They are one of my true food loves and I will eat.them.all.right.now.please.and.thank.you. The burgers we ordered were fantastic, too.

Other things of note: There isn't table service so if you sit at a table you still have to go to the bar. Live music, woot! Patio sitting, woot! Happy hour until 7, woot! There's a parking lot in the back of the building.

I'm really happy that Nick and I stopped in for a burger and we will definitely have to head back the next time we are...

Stopped in briefly for a beer and a burger from the adjacent restaurant. The bar was great, live music and great service. However, the adjacent burger grill/ice cream joint was not. The place is super small, which I only mention since they can really only cook for 4 people max. Otherwise your party's food will arrive in separate orders. We ended up getting our food in three batches, the last of which was merely an order of fries. The girl taking orders was nice and professional and just wanted to say she did a great job. However, the old man cooking the food was very unwelcoming. He acted like we were doing him some disservice by having him cook us food. He wouldnt answer questions we had when food was missing (neglected to mention they had to prepare the food in three batches). Then he chewed the girl who gave me the nachos that were ready, but he had designated them to go out on the second order since they can't cook enough food at one time. First of all, it was the last item on my order, no one likes cold nachos, and they were ready!! Old man rivers obviously has some control issues. The food was good though, but I'll never go back if old man rivers is still laying down...

If you’re in Morrison, a visit to Morrison Holiday Bar is incomplete without trying their standout Buffalo Burger. This burger takes the classic to a whole new level. The buffalo patty is incredibly flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked, offering a rich, slightly smoky taste that elevates the traditional beef burger experience. The seasoning is spot-on, enhancing the natural flavors of the meat without overpowering it. The burger is stacked with fresh, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and ketchup that ties everything together beautifully. The bun is soft but sturdy enough to hold all the ingredients without falling apart, providing the perfect balance of texture. Whether you’re a buffalo meat aficionado or just looking to try something different, the Buffalo Burger at Holiday Bar is a must-try. It’s hearty, satisfying, and will leave you craving more. Highly recommended!

The venue is long and narrow relatively speaking. I like the rustic vibe. What you really have to see and enjoy is the tri-level patio/deck, the four season room with pool tables and a fire feature. As busy as they were, standing room only, the service was decent if you don't mind walking to the bar to get your refreshments. Some people had snacks of onion rings, french fries. I didn't look for a food menu but I'm pretty sure they don't have a full service kitchen. Parking in Morrison, more often than not, can be a challenge. The holiday Bar has their own shared parking lot behind the bar up the hill. The bathroom is funky but if you've had enough to drink you won't mind. The back door to the venue which would be what you would use if you parked in that shared parking lot, goes in right next to the stage and the band so heads up.
