⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Lakeside Getaway – Lakefront Park Has It All!

Lakefront Park in Fox Lake is an absolute gem! Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or just looking for a peaceful solo escape, this park has something for everyone. The views of the lake are stunning, and the whole park feels clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed.

The playground and nature play area are fantastic — kids were entertained for hours with plenty of space to climb, explore, and burn off energy. The splash pad is a summer favorite, offering the perfect way for little ones to cool off on a warm day.

We loved the public beach access — it’s sandy, well-kept, and great for both relaxing and dipping into the water. The new amphitheater adds a fun community vibe, with live music and events that bring people together. Plus, the pickleball courts are a huge hit — busy, but always friendly and fun.

There are also clean restrooms, plenty of picnic tables and shaded shelters, and well-maintained walking paths throughout. It’s clear a lot of care went into making this a top-tier public space.

Fox Lake has truly outdone itself — Lakefront Park is now one of the best spots in the area. Highly recommend spending an afternoon here. You’ll leave refreshed, happy, and already planning your next visit!

Great Beach and its free. But not enough parking at all. Wish there was more seating and picnic tables. But overall very nice spot to come with family. Water was perfect today. It was our first time going and it had seats with umbrellas very accommodating but again they need way more seating areas. Especially if you have little children or elderly joining in on a family day.

You need more parking tooo!!! Must have more parking. I even car pooled with my Mom and we barely found a spot. There were a lot of handy cap spaces too but we are not handicapped so couldn't use those. They need more pregnant mother to be parking spots as they do not have any of...

First time here! The area has been totally redone. The beach is looking great! The playground is huge! They are still working on the area and finishing it all up.

The bathroom building is still under construction. They are doing a Friday night in the park for the next 6 Fridays. Live music and food trucks.

I will keep checking back and updating as improvements are made. It is hard to do a full review when things are still being worked on.

Places to sit, benches, rock walls, and generally all looking good so far. You can pull your boat up and listen to the music!
