I went here because it was very close to my sister's home and she wanted to give it a try... I was hoping for her that it would be grand. She thought it was alright and may or may not return but none of the three of us that went were impressed and 2/3 did not like it and definitely will not return.
My experience: We walked in early for our Mani/pedi appointments so we'd have a chance to see the place we'd never been to and pick colors but the techs nearly immediately rushed us to pedi chairs, not giving my mom chance to pick a color (later huffing that she didn't have a color). When looking at the polish bottles though, you could easily tell they were very poorly maintained (drips off the sides, most dirty, some discolored, etc.). They had plastic liners in the tub, but didn't have the towels prepared on the foot rest until after I sat down. The bubbles on my chair we're broken, my mom's water in the tub was like warm, and my mom's massage remote wasn't working properly. The techs were dressed very casually (seriously, my tech boasted a t-shirt saying "no bra club"). My sister and I were nearly done with our pedis before my mom even got hers started. Then, the tech helping my sister literally picks up my sister's purse and other belongings (without asking) and takes them away and just points at a mani table on the other side of the pedi chairs... My tech then grabs my phone and does the same... They don't sit us together, even though there are clearly open seats. Instead, they sit some random lady next to my sister and I'm sitting next to stocking boxes. My mom is still at pedi chair but ends up being sat for her mani ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE SALON! Meanwhile, back on our side, my sister knocks over their cordless phone and it's charger because they have the cables and whatever just laying out next to her chair (it went flying). They ended up moving the stock boxes and putting her next to me so she didn't have to break her neck to talk to me. We both got our skin clipped a few times by the grinders. My tech was at least friendly but just ugh... So many little things made this place awful. If they'd clean up, make their outfits a little more uniform, and be a little less carefree... MAYBE... It'd have a better chance. Otherwise, I'll stick to my...
Read moreOH MY GOODNESS IM IN LOVE, so I made an apt for my friends birthday for the two of us, a few days before I called and spoke with Tina, the owner, I explained to her that I’m looking for a new nail tech because the last place I went to started to slack. This is gonna be a long review lol When we walked in the first thing I noticed was the beauty, cleanliness, and not very pungent smell that salons normally have. We then were greeted by a very friendly worker, asked if I was kailee and made sure that it was me who wanted a female nail tech, and everything I asked for. They took us to the pedicure station and we’re sure to seat us next to each other, handed us absolutely adorable “menus” of their pedicure services and gave the most incredible, relaxing, unpainful pedicure. They were very certain to make sure nothing was too hot, too rough, things of the sort. We then were seated next to each other again for our acrylics. I originally wanted a full new set bc I was so upset with what the other nail salon did, but Tina assured me she could fix their mistake and not have to charge me for a full new set. She was incredible in making sure that I was happy with each step of the way, even spent about 20 mins thinning out the absolute bulbous nails the other salon gave me. How kind, she knew it’d be easier to give a new set, but instead of me wasting money, she spent time on it. I’m so beyond happy with this spa and most definitely can not wait to go back. Thank you so much Tina for making me feel welcome and working hard on making my nails...
Read moreI called and made an appointment for Saturday I went in to get a fill and the Older gentleman Had told me that some of my nails are lifting so that he recommended a full set. I said okay, and he began to take off my nails, but he DID NOT soak them. Instead he cut them and then jabbed his nails between the acrylic and my own nail. It hurt. After He finished violently and painfully pulling off my acrylics that i only had on for 6 days, he began using the drill to smooth my real nails, because he had pulled the new acrylic nails off so harshly i could FEEL EVERYTHING under my real nail.I have been getting my nails done for years and i never had a tech pull off acrylics without a soak. My nails were left so thin that the drill burned my nails. He also gave me multiple nicks on the sides of my fingers with the drill. Then just to top it all off i had to go in the very next morning because my top coat had peeled off on 4 of my nails. After arguing with multiple people about fixing my nails, i asked to speak to the manager. She fixed my nails in less then 10 minutes while the original nail tech stood there doing nothing. I will not be going bavk. My real nails were damaged and so was my skin, and then to have to argue with everyone about fixing them in a timely fashion was a...
