I was a little bit apprehensive going in after ready some of these reviews. I'm not a typical girly girl & actually needed some big time help choosing a new makeup & skincare regimen for my now aging skin (aging kinda sucks, like a lot). Nevertheless, I went in and found literally all 4 ladies to be the exact opposite of rude, mean, and whatever other nonsense I'd read about. I truly don't think they could've been more patient, kind, helpful, and honestly- just overall pleasure to be around. THANK YOU Becca and a special thanks to the most delightfully charming Color Matching Expert... (God dangit, I forgot her name...arghh) whose knowledge & passion gave me confidence that I was now on the right track. I never want to speak poorly of my fellow man (or woman), but I gotta say - after seeing how much of their clientele behaves, myself embarrassingly included (but as an idiot vs dismissively entitled), I'm absolutely floored that they're not embittered, jaded & just as nasty as so many "reviews" claimed. I couldn’t find someone to help me find a certain shade, so I briefly looked through the drawer myself since nobody was around but felt like that would be frowned upon lol so I went looking again for an employee to help me. I finally found one, and after she rudely asked me about what I was looking for, she stubbornly came to look through the drawer. While she was digging around, pulling other shades I didn’t ask for, I spotted what I believed to be it. So I asked if the one I spotted was it? And picked it up. She didn’t say a word and just closed the drawer and walked away! After that, I found the rest of my items and went to check out. When I went to pay, I showed my app and asked if I was supposed to scan my app or something to receive my little birthday gift for this month and the lately told me she couldn’t help e with that and that she was just trying to get the line to move along faster?? Read moreI am a HUGE fan of Sephora and really USED TO LIKE the independent Sephora in Cool Springs Mall, not the one in JCPenney. However, that has changed as of this very moment. I will no longer return to this store due to horrible customer service. I feel as customer, I am due more respect than to be standing behind an employee, who was the manager on duty, that was more than blatantly making unprofessional remarks about myself. It was a dead give away when she started waving her hand back and forth using her thumb to gesture behind her to 2 other employees. Unbeknownst to them, I was paying clear attention to the remarks she was making and the other girls chuckles, which did nothing but add more insult and salt to a wound. So thank you to the manager on duty for making unprofessional remarks and to you Becca and your other employee having a laugh at my expense. I will make sure to NEVER come into your store again.
