C. Burr Artz Public Library — Attraction in Frederick

It's a nice and spacious library. The study pods and quiet rooms are useful for studying. Free wi-fi and, you can either use their computers or bring your own. There are many tables with outlets to plug your device. Also there are good food places that are of walking distance. On the downside, parking is only free for two hours. That's if you dont forget to have your ticket validated. After the 2nd hour it's 1$/hr charge for parking. Some patrons are rude and are taking personal calls in the middle of the room while everybody can hear them. Some will chatter next to the study pods without any regard if they are disrupting the people who are trying to read or study. Someone was also sleeping and snoring in one of the study pods and was only pretending to be reading something on his phone. There was staff around but they dont...

If I could give awards for the all the libraries I've visited I would give this one the "most helpful and friendly staff" award. The people working here were absolutely fantastic and happy to help with any questions I had. The space is great as well, the children's section is large but also tucked away in a separate part of the building which allows the children to be children and other library patrons to have peace and quiet for reading, working, or studying. While there aren't a lot of study rooms and they fill up quickly, making a reservation is easy, quick, and free. Highly recommend spending some time here! A real gem...

If anyone leaves anything less than 5 stars they are by all counts guilty of libel and slander. This place is one of the absolute helpful places in all of Frederick, if not Maryland. Not only is the staff absolutely the most helpful, they are the kindest souls I have ever came in contact with. I consider these people more than aquaintances. I don't know where I would be without this place, its an intregal part of life. And they also approve parking passes during business hours. You guys rock and are one of the major reasons Frederick is one of the best places to be. Keep on keeping...
