Suite 23 Barbershop — Attraction in Freehold

I have always been very happy with the quality of haircuts that my 2 sons have received at Suite 23. Every time my boys get their hair cuts they come out smiling. With that being said, EVERY time we have made an appointment, they have had to wait for at LEAST 45 minutes AFTER their scheduled time to get seen. Today I dropped my 16 year old son off to get his hair cut and it took 1 hour and 40 minutes from the time he walked in at his scheduled appointment time, until the time he was actually done. When I confronted the owner about this, he was VERY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! He YELLED and said that he had been working since 4 am and that he can’t control people who are late. You are absolutely right! You can’t control others but you can call the waiting customers and explain that they are running late and can you come later. You could also reschedule the late appointments for another day and time. You CAN control the way you speak to paying “cash only” customers. HORRIBLE customer service! Went last week. Called at 8 in the morning to make an appointment, it was originally scheduled for 6:30, they called me multiple times to switch barbers and times thoughout the day. The barber ‘Andrew’ told me he really needed me to get there at 6 because I would be his last appointment. Got there at 6 on the dot, he made me wait 40 minutes. When I finally went up he didn’t apologize for making me wait when he rushed me to get there. And then he cut my hair for 10 minutes, and rushed the entire time. Was good first time. Young man Jayden cut my hair. Went in 2nd time without an appointment and everyone was busy. Jayden had an appointment in a few minutes but I guess it was a superior told him to take me and made him rush as his appointment walked in 3 min after I sat down.
