I placed on online order for my husbands and ordered the premium “From Me to You Bouquet” for $129.99 and asked for it to be delivered to his work in Newark. The main reason for choosing this particular flower arrangement was because of the beautiful, unique red vase it came in. When my husband sent me a photo and a text message thanking me, I couldn’t help but notice that the flower arrangement was not in the vase that was shown online. I was happy that he was happy but at the same time I was bummed because he didn’t receive what I ordered. Upon placing the order online it asks if I would like a phone call before substituting flowers and I choose the yes option. Why Fremont Flowers would think it was okay to substitute the vase it came in without calling and verifying with me was upsetting. After taxes, delivery and the early morning delivery option, I spent $173. I did call the shop, I spoke to Kevin and express my concern about the arrangement coming in a different, cheaper looking vase. I explained that I felt like I didn’t get what I had ordered and I wanted to know why I didn’t receive a phone call when it came to replacing the vase. Kevin wasn’t as sympathetic or as compassionate as I would’ve hoped for when dealing with a unsatisfied customer, he seemed rushed and preoccupied which I understand as this is the week of Valentines. This being the week of Valentines is also the reason why I placed the order today and not closer to Valentine’s Day because I wanted what I selected and paid for. I explained that although the flowers were for my husband, I knew that the vase would ultimately be mine after the flowers died and the main reason I picked that particular arrangement was because I wanted the vase it came in. Kevin informed me that they were out of stock on that vase and he didn’t know why I didn’t receive a phone call when it came to substituting the vase. Might not seem like that big of a deal but this is the first time that I have ever sent my husband flowers, first time I have ever spent over $170 for flowers and delivery. I told Kevin that I live in Tracy, CA and that I would like a phone call when the vase I paid for was back in stock and I would make the hour drive down from Tracy to Fremont to swap out the cheap, ugly vase for the pretty, red Swirl Vase that I paid for. I asked for a time frame or when I could check back with him and he just said that they would call me when it’s in. I will keep you all posted on how that...
Read moreTwo reasons why I'm giving a low rating for this shop are the quality of the flowers and the rude customer service I received. I bought a hydrangea and rose bouquet for Valentine's day. I was a bit disappointed at first by the bouquet and the amount of flowers in it. It was less full than the online picture suggested. But what I was really disappointed by was the flowers didn't last two days. By the second day, the hydrangea and roses were completely wilted. (My wife cut the stems and placed the flowers in water as soon as I got home the first day.) I've never gotten flowers that died within two days.
I called the shop in order to see if I can get a partial refund. But when I called and explained the issue, the person who received my call was very defensive and rude. Some of the things she said were to the effect of, "Flowers have a short shelf life, that's to be expected..." When I said, "$45 bouquet is not cheap, I expected better quality than Safeway flowers." She said, "Then you should go there next time. You bought one of our cheapest bouquet..." She then put me on hold to talk to someone and when she returned, she said, "You should submerge the hydrangea in water upside down, that should bring them back to life. And our refund policy is only 24hrs. You are outside the window of refund." I was frustrated and asked, "Did you speak with your manager?" And she said that she needs to get to other customers and hung up on me abruptly. When I called back and asked for her name, she then accused me of yelling at her (which I never did but remained calm) and hung up on me again after saying, "My manager Murphy will get back."
I'm quite shocked at the level of disrespect I received when I simply complained about the quality of their product. Had she simply apologized for the low quality flowers I received and explained respectfully the refund policy, I would've accepted it. I understand that sometimes you get a bad product and that doesn't mean that all their flowers are bad quality. It happens. But they have no excuse for their rude customer service. At this point, I don't care about the refund but I'm very upset at how I was treated. I usually don't write reviews, but I hope that by writing this review the manager will take note and recognize that they shouldn't talk to their customers like that. Needless to say, I will never go back...

Same great customer service as always. Today I just bought eucalyptus leaves and leather ferns for a newborn photoshoot. The leather ferns were absolutely perfect for our needs!! Total cost for both bundles was around $25
Whenever they take me to their refrigerated section in the back it feels like VIP. I'm sure they do that for everyone, but there is something that feels personal about being able to see their behind the scenes inventory.
Everything about this place is always pleasant and a great experience overall.

This place is so well-rounded as a business. I needed a bouquet last minute for an engagement photoshoot in Burney Falls.
I arrived 1 hour before closing. The staff were incredible. The environment had this "family" feeling like being welcomed into someone's home and feeling like you're part of it.
Scott helped me create a huuge bouquet of white carnations, baby's breath, and a few sunflowers. We added some greenery to make it pop and it came out so beautiful and bountiful which is exactly what the couple wanted.
Sadly, I forgot one of my phones there and was going away for the weekend trip. But they held it until today and Scott even charged it for me. That's thoughtful and over the top service. This place is everything you want in a flower shop.
They also have some really cute novelty gifts so it's a one stop shop for all things...
