The Burger Shop — Restaurant in Union City

Husband and I came here after seeing the GrubWitMike review, and it really was the Best Burger we’ve both ever had. We got the double smash burgers with sides of sauce and we’re goin back again tonight lol it’s really THAT good!

This is a NEW UPDATE :

We have since came here 3 more times after this review and it’s gotten better and better! I promise yall this is THE BEST BURGER IN THE BAY AREA!!!

What we do now is a Double Smash add grilled onions extra sauce and it’s perfection🤌🏽

And the sauce really does have something special in it, We are forever Regular Customers now 🫶🏽

Disappointed, especially as a smash burger fan.

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered through DoorDash and specifically requested extra sauce in the burgers—but there was barely any, if at all. To make matters worse, the buns were extremely soggy, which completely took away from the whole smash burger vibe.

I did read a review beforehand warning about the sogginess in the triple, but I figured I’d try it anyway along with a double. Sadly, both had the same issue. Maybe it was just an off day or something that happened during delivery, but considering other people had the same complaint, it seems like a recurring problem.
