Didn't know this place existed until I searched hard for a new boba spot. It's located off Stevenson in Fremont in the Asian plaza. It's quite spacious inside with tons of seating from tables with benches to high tables with bar stools. The interior is really pretty and well thought out- cute boba wall paper, green plants hanging from the ceiling, a little Suzuki truck with Asian snacks for sale, claw machine and arcade games, and a green plant wall down the hallway. Such cute vibes! I love how this spot aims to be not just a place to grab your drink/snacks to go, but a place to hang and play games! We would love to bring our nieces/nephews here one day. Each snack/drink purchase gets you 1 game token! What a neat concept. The owner is super friendly and welcoming to her customers. She aims to please her customer and is willing to listen to feedback - this type of mindset and culture is really hard to find nowadays!
We tried several items from the fruit teas, milk tea, popcorn chicken, fried octopus, fried tofu, takoyaki, ube egg waffle with ice cream, Vietnamese coffee, etc. My favorite had to be the fresh fruit tea with lychee fruit, mango jellies (including mango bear shaped jelly! how unique) in green tea. It wasn't too sweet and it was sooo refreshing. The ube egg waffle was delicious - chewy waffle with ice cream blended well together. It also came with 2 pocky sticks. The milk teas were great as well and 25% sweetness was the right sweetness level for me. We also tried the creme brulee milk tea which is a hit if you're into sweets.
The popcorn chicken was seasoned well and was very crispy! We loved nearly everything we tried and can't wait to come back and try more. I am currently craving the popcorn chicken paired with the fruit tea, a good snack that goes well together! The milk tea with cotton candy on top was pretty cool and great for pictures. The cotton candy was fluffy and not overwhelming. Been craving cotton candy since I haven't had it in awhile. It's such a great concept especially for kids. Super excited to bring my nephews here to hangout and enjoy some good...
Read moreLooking for a cozy, fun boba spot to just chill at? Tea Moment in Fremont is tucked away in the back of a shopping plaza off Stevenson, so I guess you can consider it a hidden gem. They have tons of drinks with unique flavors and tasty snacks made to order so you know it's fresh!
What really makes this boba place so different from the rest... They have a snack truck! (yes, it's actually a real truck they drove in lol) which has Asian snacks and candy you won't find at markets here. Fun claw machines! Get a token to use for every drink or food item purchased. Stamp cards! Not sure why I was most excited to hear about these, maybe because it's so nostalgic from the good ol 'boba days growing up.
There are also a few tables outside so you can bring your fur-babies along!

Read moreHello Viewer, I was craving for the egg waffle after a Korean foods, and look around and found "tea moment" service egg waffle. I am surprised by the egg waffle selection that almost offer anything you can think about Mocha, matcha, chocolate, Ube, and many others I can't remember. needless to say - they can definitely satisfy customer's indulging.
let;s talk about the foods a bit. I received my order after 5 minutes, and have a bites. the waffle is sweet, soft yet very soggy, and does not have the crispy texture on the shell. I can't really taste the Ube favorite, and believe they are all powder based, well, it's a fast food dessert, you shouldn't expect too much.
I have not get a chance to test the other tea moment, but I can see the store offers variety of the foods, snack, drinks, plus all the nostalgia arcade machine there, it's definitely give the overall experience to...
