The first of its kind and in Fresno, CA. The whole concept of putting all the essential stops into one shop and placing it in the highest area of need in the city makes it easier for individuals experiencing life crisis to gain a footing on solid ground and since transportation and wait times are often a challenge for individuals and families needing assistance. There are multiple service providers on campus with access to eduction healthcare legal spiritual support including reentry services, family supportive services, case management, social services applications and assistance, recovery referrals, female empowerment, hygiene support and childcare, in addition to the world’s first of its kind free food market featuring fresh foods such as fruits and veggies, organics, non perishable and perishable foods, with donations from local distributors like POM Wonderful, Starbucks, Good Earth, Foster Farms, and Kind, to name a few. This helps contribute to what I can only say a person that feels less than their best self a little more whole and helps the inner human in us feel nurtured nourished and needed because it is a community effort and where one pays it forward is in the thanks of giving. Read moreThis place is great, I love that you have the options to choose your own items plus they have free bonus Starbucks items as well, which makes it even better.,Its been a lifesaver for me and my husband whom are both disabled. The fact that they do say its first come first serve is correct, however its not right when you have so many people who came extra early to get their places in line waiting patiently and only to always end up seeing people getting dropped off late right before opening and crowding because family members or friends are saving them places up in line and it aint just one its over 5 or more people bumping you back when they crowd in!! ..,NOW THAT RIGHT THERE IS NOT RIGHT AT ALL BECAUSE NOW THEY ARE SETTING US THAT CAME EARLY EVEN FARTHER BACK ONCE THOSE NUMBERS ARE GETTING HANDED OUT!!!..."EITHER GET UP EARLY LIKE THE REST OF US OR GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE WHERE YOU SHOULD BE AND WAITING ACCORDINGLY WOULD BE WOULD THE RIGHT THING TO DO. RESPECTFULLY I DO HOPE FIRST FRUITS MARKET AND CFB LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND MAKE STRICTER RULES REGARDING THIS BECAUSE IT WILL AND CAN CAUSE FRICTION AMONGST FIRST...
