Economy Inn — Hotel in Fresno

IM AM ABSOLUTELY BEWILDERED THAT FRESNO COUNTY WOULD PAY THIS BUSINESS $89 a NIGHT AND FORCE HOMELESS AND LOW INCOME FAMILIES TO SUFFER EVEN MORE THAN THE UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT LEAD TO THIER SITUATION. THIS BUSINESS OWNER IS NOT ONLY AWARE OF THE BED BUG INFESTATION BUT HAS A LOYAL CLEANING STAFF THAT MAKE IT MANDATORY TO CLEAN THE ROOM EVERYDAY, IM ASSUMING ITS TO GET RID OF ANY SIGNS OF THE INFESTATION. THAN THEY TRY TO “DETER” THE PARASITES BY COVERING THE ROOM WITH LETHAL AMOUNTS OF BLEACH. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THESE FAMILIES AND SHUT DOWN THIS BUSINESS! JUST BECAUSE A FAMILIES MIGHT FALL UNDER UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE GARBAGE. THE FACT THAT FRESNO COUNTY WOULD PAY THIS BUSINESS $1200 FOR EVERY FAMILY THEY HOUSE. The hotel management is completely aware of the bed bug infestation. The cleaning staff must be paid extremely well, not only do they demand to clean your room, but they will not let you tell them to come back later. I’m assuming it’s because they want to rid the room of any visible bugs. After they “clean” your room it reeks of bleach. Also DO NOT STAY HERE, THIS hotel is contracted to Fresno County and is always completely booked with families or low income individuals. The rate for a normal guest is $45 but this business charges Fresno County meaning the tax payers dollars the maximum rate $89. The business is crooked and only cares about collecting the county’s money that is supposed to be taking care of low income or homeless families and providing a safe place. This place needs to be shut down, and the city needs to stop letting crooked business profit off people who they consider...

Safe facility, with cameras everywhere, even from "silent rooms" with video recorders pointed down 1 whole side of hotel. Staff stays in rooms. And managers live onsite- and free hi speed internet.

Sucked: NO DOGS allowed!!!! Had to leave my babies in CA overnight!! Not across street(next time , I can live without microwave and fridge in my room- for most negative issues there. No tub, no hot tub, non smoking rooms ? Never asked! laundry room locks at 7, absolutely NO guests, no free continental breakfast, nothing! not even Customer Service Savvy to let guests know about laundry hours, never told me there was at least coffee, shower liner had mold, bottom of my trash can , uunder the bag was snuff, or tobacco, and never asked if I needed wake up call, no amenities- and cost $10 more a night than Motel 8...
