Mi Cafesito — Restaurant in Fresno

I visited Mi Cafesito, after reading the article in the Fresno Bee, a few days earlier. I was impressed! My friend and I went to the Blackstone store. We were not greeted. Two females were behind the counter. One girl was on her cell phone, didn't bother looking up, while the other was standing near her, chatting away. My friend ordered an Iced Mexican coffee, my order was iced Horchata. The "phone" girl, made herself a snack, Bag of chips, sauce and sat down back to her cell phone. When our order was ready, it was brought to our table, set down drinks/straws were set down server. walked away. She didn't leave or offer napkins. ....... I did not see her wash her hands once!! My friend enjoyed her beverage. Mine, I did not. It tasted, overly spiced. We were not able to wipe our hands, holding the cold drinks. As we were leaving, two men walked in. "Phone "girl greeted them. Set the two at a table Took their order. Now that's service!!!! Oh, she never did...

Oh my so many great reviews on here about this coffee shop. So we went out of our way to hopefully enjoy coffee. This was a mistake, big disappointment. I ordered Mexican Mocha my friend ordered a Latte. I had good intentions of supporting a small coffee shop. When we approached counter we were not greeted. There was basically not much of pastries available only 2 pkgs left miniature quarnitos & what looked like turnovers. I purchased the quarnitos they were ok. The young college age male brought us our coffee to our table. I took a sip & was disappointment that my coffee was not hot. It did have good flavor but unfortunately Just barely warm I enjoyed a couple of sips & approached counter thought I'd just have him microwave it. No microwave available. Bummer. The vanilla latte, gotten with oatmilk, was very sour and sweet. The tartness and the sweetness was overwhelming, kind of trying to compensate or maskt he sourness. There's a hint of coffee, and the taste stays in your mouth. Grainy, powdery texture, the liquid looked like a buttermilk texture, semi separated solids and liquids. The coffee was made quickly, a complimentary cookie helped with the coffee flavor. Service is nice. The cup has hand written writing. Cute message.

Overall the worst coffee I've ever had. Was very saddened by the experience. Perhaps it was the bean used, the technique created, but it wasn't the typical coffee flavor one would expect. Coffee went...
