Gobind Jewelers — Attraction in Fresno

I recently visited Gobind Jewelry in Fresno with the intention of purchasing a gold bangle, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arriving at the store, I was dismayed to find that although the posted opening time was 11:00 AM, the owners did not open until 11:15 AM, and then proceeded to take an additional 45 minutes to set up their jewelry display.

Not only was the tardiness frustrating, but the complete lack of greeting or acknowledgment upon entering the store was disheartening. Despite being a returning customer, I received no warm welcome or appreciation for my patronage.

Furthermore, the demeanor of the owners was unprofessional and downright rude. Instead of providing assistance or maintaining a friendly atmosphere, they exhibited hostility and even raised their voices without justification.

As a consumer, I value respectful and attentive service, neither of which was provided during my visit to Gobind Jewelry. Consequently, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I cannot in good conscience support a establishment where customer satisfaction is clearly not a priority.

I have been shopping at this store for several years and have always had positive experiences. However, during a recent visit, one of the employees displayed a very unprofessional attitude. She rolled her eyes a few times and wasn’t very friendly—it felt like we were wasting her time, even though we made purchases. We also got the impression that she assumed we weren’t going to buy anything based on our appearance, which made the experience even more uncomfortable.

I understand the store can get busy and that some customers may take longer to select and choose their items, but her behavior significantly impacted my visit. That said, another employee was friendly and helpful—she even recommended some items to us, which we really appreciated.

Hello, thank you for your kind reply. I understand that your scales are tested for accuracy according to industry standards. However, we only used a basic food scale initially (just to get a rough estimate) but to confirm our suspicions and to confirm the item’s accurate weight we subsequently had the item weighed at a different Indian JEWELRY store (as I mentioned in the original review) and that store confirmed our suspicions and showed the accurate weight using their “professionally calibrated equipment”, which was different to what was written on our receipt.
