Honestly using this is allot a lot of help for Me. It would be. More better, wayyy more better if I was able to use. It without internet service or wifi because I'm order to use that's a. Must to have. Which really is a duh I need it too use Google maps I'm jus saying it would be awesome if internet wasn't needed to use it if we could use it as long as we had. A phone with the maps app on it. Anyways another thing is it does give me a lot of problems it takes me to the completely wrong location that I type in myself or that I click on the link sent. From someone I knows location. One time I searched in olive Carl's Jr Fresno CA my location was on highway 99 in Tipton CA and it had. Showed my destination was 2 hours and 44 minutes to get to Carl's Jr Fresno CA off highway 99 So I multiple times retypes logged off the app put in the location over again turned off n on my phone really everything I could think of to fix it and nothing. Changed . I new how to get there without using the. Map app I mean c'mon. Lol I jus wanted to know how long the drive was until I got there. I looked where. It was trying to take me and it was out in the middle of no where no houses no stores nothing but some corn fields or some type of grape field or oranges idk jus could tell it was some trees or vines . But if not that then jus dirt fields at thee moment I can't remember the town I think stockten idk country somewhere on a road with fields surroundit the roed my location kept trying to send me to. I kinda wish I went. But it was dark n I was scared and I'm still scared to go. Other then that the Gps maps app is Cool. Jus feel it gets hacked alot and people be trying too send me somewhere I'm not wanting to go. If it is people...

Pros: Awesome Zoo Awesome mini theme park Beautiful lakes and playgrounds Tons of shade Tennis courts (lots) Tons of space Tons of ducks (fun!) Good number of Restrooms

Cons: Homeless Homeless Homeless Trash trash trash Dogs dogs dogs! (Large scary ones the homeless brings) Dog feces everywhere Duck feces everywhere Red ants omg!!! Not a safe place (unless at zoo or park)

Summary: I don't have a problem wth the homeless camping here. I do have a problem when they THREATEN you when you make even a millisecond of eye contact with them. Btw they like to let their dogs loose so that could be a risk for children. Btw take away the homeless, dog feces and trash is gone. When trash is gone, red ants is gone. When ants and homeless are gone, park is a lot safer. Sorry can't do much with duck feces. This could have been one of the best parks in...

Great location with all kinds of fun and opportunities to meet exciting new people - especially if you are homeless.

Park outdoor activities include:

free-range sleeping & hygene areas

convenient shopping cart parking

aggressive pan-handling opportunities

stolen pizza pie eating contest

Piñata game on the community snitch

bobbing for coins in the duck pond

hide-n-go-seek safe place from the cops

50yd purse-snatching dash

pick-a-part from unattended vehicles

scavenger hunt for cans, bottles and crack pipes

The list could go on and on, especially if you have some meth available to expand your creative ideas. You don't have to be crazy to become involved with all this, but it helps. So come on out and join us. We'll be sure that you won't leave without a lifetime full...

I like the structure of this park and all the family fun that is part of it. Like Story Land, Play Land, and the Chaffee Zoo. They also have a duck pond that you can visit and they have a train that rides through most of the park. It's a big park. The only thing that I don't like is the homeless, I'm talking about the ones that pee in public and leave their trash. Despite the restrooms and the trash cans located throughout the park some people just don't care about the children around watching everything. that seems to be normal at more more parks these days. But since I was a kid I've love this park.

I am really very disappointed in Fresno for the ongoing homeless and trash and vandalism at this park. The park has gone completely down hill from what I remember, it is not taken care of. The tables are falling apart, trash literally all over the streets inside the park. The bathrooms are destroyed. This town is just getting worse through out the years and most of the parks are now unfortunately disgusting and not safe for families… please someone fix up our city.. pictures are of the bathrooms in the park.

We took someone who'd never been to a zoo before and it was a little disappointing because what she got to see was a lot of places with animals not there and moving equipment and lots of things like that. She still enjoyed it and it certainly was wonderful to see all the various changes that will be made. I was particularly happy to see a new commissary and office buildings going up because the previous facilities are old and inadequate.
