Motel 6 Fresno, CA — Hotel in Fresno

I booked two rooms at the Motel 6, 1087 North Parkway, Fresno, CA arrived on April 16, departed April 17. Rooms 110 and 111. I put my business guest in 110 and I stayed in 111. His room, MY GUEST , had a jammed up toilet with other peoples' human excrement backwashed into it when he went to use it. He was a kind old man and did not want to bother me so twice during the night, he had to walk to the 24-hour Denny’s Restaurant 1 ½ blocks away to use the bathroom. In the morning he got ready to jump into the shower and there was no water. How awful and how embarrassing for me. I went to the office there at 8am , 8:30 am and 9am to ask for the money back and THE OFFICE WAS LOCKED AND NOBODY ANSWERED THE NIGHT BELL. I would like some correction made or refund. NEVER AGAIN!! When i set the reservation i let them know i would be arriving around 10am, i was told that was fine, until i get here and I'm told to come back in 5 HOURS! The room reeks of weed, half the lights have no bulbs, no remote for the fuzzy, half blown ancient tube style tv, not one place to hang clothes & THERE'S FOOD ON THE FLOOR! I'm disappointed in motel 6 along with the owners of this location, the ONLY solution offered was to stay in this room tonight and just switch rooms tomorrow. I'd prefer to switch locations all together! Oh, can't forget to mention all the homeless surrounding the area. I will never stay here again and I'll never recommend this...

Surprisingly for the area it was in it was actually pretty clean the only part that was kinda ewww was the restroom it had blood or boogers or something on the wall and around the bottom of toilet it was pretty gross it’s not in a good area it’s where all the homeless and a lot of activity going on round there but what I can say by far it’s the cleanest motel 6 I’ve been too and the lady at the check in was very nice. They also could check the filters more often for the ax it was filthy it’s one of the first things I check when I get to a hotel because I don’t wanna be...
