Fridley Market — Attraction in Fridley

This is the current home of Cub Foods and they are pretty awesome for what Fridley has to offer! Let's start with they are open 24hrs a day, yes! They have great produce that is never bad when I get home, awesome! They have a pretty good cereal section but they keep saying they will get fruity pebbles with marshmallows IN A BAG but after 6 months and 3 request with replies saying they will, they still haven't, boo. Moving right along though, they are always well stocked, in fact it's pretty rare that I go to grab something off the shelf and it's empty (except for the marshmallow fruity pebbles. And I can very rarely find the replacement sponges for the dishsoap handle scrubbie things.) So they are very well stocked compared to most stores. The restrooms are always very clean, and they always have soap and paper hand towels too, thank you. The pharmacy staff is not only knowledgable, they are friendly too, I just wished they where open a bit latter I always seem to get there and they are closed. But the parking lot situation is cool as a breeze, weather you find yourself waiting for a friend or lived one to get their shopping done, or your just trying to park and run in real quick, it's never a problem and the guys out there pushing carts are not butt heads like some places, they seem to all be very respectful of your time and don't mind waiting a moment for you to pull out when your in a hurry. The one complaint about this store is the overnight cashier's, SMH, if it's not the pompus additude and unwillingness to help with anything shown by the older lady who's name we will leave a mystery since she is supposedly almost retired, or the seemingly higher bill than calculated everytime but only ever with a certain cashier, they could really use friendlier, more helpful, cashier's that ain't trying to double ring or otherwise scam you when your already tiered enough and don't wanna worry about the only cashier in the store trying to run game on you for the 5th time this year, better start saving my receipts! The rest of the place is great though, so check it out!!! It was Mother's Day and it was terribly busy so we waited out in the car to eat since there was such a long line. The guy that I checked in with to get a number with sassy and I didn't appreciate that. This was a place that was recommended by a friend of mine and my daughter had already been there who met us there with her daughter and boyfriend. I did like the fact that the guy who was removing plates from the table was prompt at doing that. I hated the fact that we had to eat off of foam plates and plastic silverware because of covid. Phone was supposed to be outlawed because it doesn't break down to decompose in the dump. One of the best things I ate was a cold tomato salad that was just delicious. I had steak it was good but I would like to do a little bit more tender. The mashed potatoes and gravy was delicious. I had one egg roll with sweet and sour sauce that was yummy too. The texture of the egg roll wasn't too hard so that means it was more fresh. I wanted to have noodles with cabbage in it but it was so busy and I was so being entertained by my granddaughter I did not get to try that. I was also disappointed that the chocolate fountain was not functioning due to covid as well. My boyfriend wanted to have shrimp and a lot of them had heads on them and stuff he'd preferred not. My boyfriend wanted like a breaded shrimp with cocktail sauce. My daughter's boyfriend had some sushi. I had some hot and sour soup and it was delish I loved that there was a lot of tofu in it.
