Read moreWhat an embarasment !! This is my first negative review for anyone but its unavoidable. FC Dallas or Toyota Stadium whoever thought they could handle a game where Messi was involved and be so ridiculously poor at crowd management, basic etiquette and managing entry Into the stadium ! It took us more than an hour in line to get in. Missed kickoff ! Plus the security ppl had no clue or consistency depending on which line u were in. Chaos everywhere ! Then when we were about to enter my kids small water bottle which was let in for multiple kids before us was asked to be left out ! Ok I understand since this was our first game here maybe we should have not carried it but if you read there website regarding what's allowed its ambiguous. On top of that my wifes sling purse which was well under the allowed 8" dimension was also asked to be removed. Since we were running late we had no choice to just leave it aside. I did request the fc dallas staff if they could keep it next to there stuff near the gate but they didn't allow that.. fine..we entered taking a chance and then our stuff was thrown in the trash by them.. I mean I have attended qatar 2022..if ur gonna manage a game that's 1/4th the capacity atleast have better signage or atleast storage...and frisco /fc dallas /expect to get a world cup game...I'd rather burn cash than ever attend a game at this garbage venue..total dumpster fire...the only saving grace was messis...
Read moreToyota stadium is a smaller stadium so the seats are relatively close to the field and you can see the players pretty clearly.
Seats are pretty comfortable, but on a hot day, bring a small towel to sit on if you’re wearing shorts because you will 100% sweat — it’s an open stadium with not much shade 😅 We sat in the 107, had an awning for some shade, but it’s Texas so you bake. The seats across the stadium do not have any shade so I could only imagine how hot they were
We went on Game Night with a Drone Show. It was pretty cool!
I gave 4 stars for three reasons:
The obvious… It’s an open stadium so on a hot day, you’re pretty much cooked 😉 Would be cool to have misting fans somewhere. Maybe they had some and I couldn’t find them, but it’s an idea if they’re non-existent.
We paid $15 for soggy nachos. The lady at concessions gave us a bowl that had been pre-made sitting in the window. Tasty, but soggy. We still devoured it all.
Coming in & out of the venue and the cost of parking. It’s pretty congested so it took forever to navigate parking. Parking lot fees were scattered everywhere ranging from $10-$20.
Overall, we had a great time watching the FC Dallas game and would come again. Prepared. And probably with season tickets so we can go in the air...
