Tgis place is outstanding! I was originally looking for a pizza by the slice pizzeria, and this happened to be on my route. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is a 'pizzeria' in name sake only. While they do offer pizzas, this is not your dad's pizza hut. The pizzas and sandwiches are all prepared in wood fired stoves. I visited for lunch, so the clientele was sparse, but this would make a great place for a business lunch and an exceptional place for date night. They have a generous wine selection and several import beers on tap. There are 2 outdoor sitting areas, a large dining room, and ample bar space. While I was originally in the mood for a slice of pizza, I instead opted for a Parma sandwich, which was served with a fresh green salad with black olives and cherry tomatoes The mango iced tea was very refreshing, and the food quality was exceptional. My waitress was very attentive, and I never had to ask for anything. I certainly plan to return with my wife to make it a "surprise date night." I almost feel that calling this a pizzeria is under selling it.

Pizzeria Testa (not to be confused with the battery superpower) is amongst the best locations to get lunch in Frisco! It is a delightful blend of Italian & American cuisine! I was in Frisco for workshop on Monday (12/4) and the workshop leader, Nicole, planned for us to go to Pizzeria Testa for lunch. To my delight, it exceeded all expectations! The restaurant was brilliantly placed in the middle of a populated area. The design and layout was simple, yet stylish. Our server, Abby or Abi or Abbie, was very nice and took care of us well. The food was prepared and cooked to captivating flavor! Our team ordered a mix of sandwiches and pizza. I ordered the Salsiccia pizza, because of the meats included (PROTEIN) and would order it again! My favorite thing was the Tiramisu that Nicole had gotten for the table (😋) - I would go back just for that!! If you find yourself in Frisco, make your way over to Pizzeria Testa. No matter what your expectations - you will not be disappointed. Save to say that Testa passes the Test: (A)

We're originally from Brooklyn, NY so we know how real pizza should look and taste like. 😊 And let me tell you, this joint isn't necessarily like OG New York style pizzeria. Nonetheless, I can assure you that it's one of if not THE BEST pizzerias in town. They make some very delicious pizzas. Interior and exterior settings remind very much genuine Italian pizza cafes. Their staff is super friendly. Everything about this place screams high standards. It's very clean and well organized. Utensils, napkins, tables and plates very sparkling clean. Our waiter was super polite and took our orders without missing any details. And we weren't a small party by any means. 😁 We're party of 9 people and all of our orders were spot on! This is most definitely our new number one pizza place from here on out hands down!!! We highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone who appreciate some handmade genuine Italian pizza and not some fast food junk (no offense).

I wish I could share a review of the food at this place, but alas I cannot. Yesterday I came in about 4 PM with my wife and daughter. The waitress sat us down and we asked for waters for all three of us as this was a family-oriented day and not a boozy adult evening. So the waitress asked us what we wanted, but as this was our first time we asked for a couple of minutes to decide. The waitress then went over to the front of the restaurant and began what seemed to be a long conversation with maître d. After about 10 minutes I tried to waive our waitress over, and I could tell that she saw my attempt to so so. However, she went back to her most important conversation instead of taking our order. So about 5 minutes after that my wife nudged me to leave for which I took her cue to do so. So why were we snubbed at this pizza joint? I can't really say. Perhaps our waitress was a bit immature, perhaps we did not fit their "singles club" atmosphere being a family that wasn't ordering alcoholic drinks. Anyhow, no matter, as I found another restaurant in Plano which we spent over $160 nearly half of which was a tip. A typical evening for my family. My advice to this place: Don't judge a book by its cover. Wealthy folks may actually have families and wear shorts and T-shirts as normal people do. If you want to be an elitist pizza joint for singles then please advertise that's your bag by wearing über-snooty clothes and holding your noses to the ceiling to give us an update on what the weather is up there if you please. Also, be sure to quiz folks that just breezed in about the latest Ariana Grande song that your cognoscenti wait staff will only know about because you were born less than two decades ago...whilst you look way down on the hoi polloi family that is taking their...

I've eaten in this restaurant several times over the years (recently limited due to pandemic) and food was always good to excellent. I would give 4-5 stars for past dining experiences. Unfortunately, I am now having to eat gluten free. I ordered a gluten free pizza the other day and it was, to put it simply, awful. I paid $28.00 (which included an 18% tip) for something that was really, really bad. It was a small pizza. I brought home half and ended up throwing it in the garbage. It was seriously NOT good. So yeah, I get it...gluten free isn't always great but this was, IMO, disgusting. The crust appeared to be less than well-cooked (wasn't brown on bottom or even slightly crispy) and there was some sort of white powder (flour?) on it that covered my hands and the dark brown cloth napkin. Do NOT expect a good gluten free pizza at this restaurant. An awful waste of my $28.00. I'm not going to comment on toppings as I really couldn't get past the awful crust situation. Now for the 3 star rating...based on the pizza, I would give it a minus 1 star but I don't want to bash this great neighborhood place entirely. The service was pleasant, friendly, timely (and they were very busy at lunchtime). I saw other people enjoying what appeared to be excellent food (as I had enjoyed in the past)...likely an excellent experience for all. For those who might require gluten free food just enjoy maybe a salad while other members of your party enjoy...

I was looking for a new pizza place and decided to try this one for lunch yesterday and I will not go back. The pizzas were extremely expensive for what you get (about 20 bucks) and the quality was just terrible. The dough wasn't cooked properly so it was chewy but still pretty raw. I had a white pizza and all I can say is that the cheese on top of it had the texture of plastic. It was so tough that I literally had to chew on the cheese part of the pizza slice by itself for a long time. There was absolutely no flavor in any of it nor was there any detectable sauce on the pizza itself. I'm not sure what happened to the sauce. Their "baked sausage" didn't taste like Italian sausage at all. It just tasted like plain ground pork. It didn't say Italian sausage on the menu, just baked sausage, so I actually asked what kind of sausage it was and they said it was Italian sausage but that's not Italian sausage. It had no taste at all.

There was nothing good about this pizza, or my experience as I sat there with half an inch of water in my glass for half an hour and I finally had to ask somebody to please fill up my water.

Don't waste your time or your money because there's plenty of places you can get much better pizza for the same or...
