Cute place, friendly staff, nice vibe.. However, extremely dissatisfied with how an in store order was handled.

Placed an order mid march, periodically went into the store over the next few months to check if it had come in since I hadn’t received any updates. I went in 3 times over the course of 4 months. I was told initially that a new batch of this yarn was currently being prepared and that it might take some time, because of this I was very willing to be patient.

The last time I visited to check on my order I was told by the cashier that actually the yarn I ordered had arrived, but had since been sold out again. She told me that the owner was on vacation and that she would contact me to let me know when the next batch of yarn might be coming in.

Fast forward to today, 4 months after placing my initial order, I got in contact with the shop owner and she informed me that the yarn is out of stock from the manufacturer and there is no indication of when it will return. I was issued a refund, but the owner was very cavalier and entirely unfazed by this ordeal and frankly, I felt it better to leave a detailed review then explaining on the phone how disregarded this situation feels because she didn’t sound concerned at all that my yarn had arrived, been sold to someone else and it’s unknown when or if it will be in stock again.

If I can’t find this yarn elsewhere, and there’s a good chance I won’t, then my project will go unfinished after many hours of work. This is a lovely place but don’t rely on them for...

I bought the Alpaca boot socks and they are the best socks I have ever had by so far I’m not sure how to describe it. When I wear different socks I’m aware how much worse my feet feel because these soft 🧦 have ruined me. My skin is so warm, but DRY. I have cold tile floors and poor circulation, so I need to always wear socks in the winter, so my skin was getting very irritated and inflamed being cooped up and humid. Worth stopping for!! Beautiful, unique yarns. I spent over an hour looking at all the beautiful yarns and could have spent more time. Lovely store! Cool notions.
