Half of the puzzles were literally broken. That guy had to keep coming in there to tell us.
Edit due to owners response: well I appreciate the extra 20 minutes you were given the fact I didn’t ask for a refund is only because my kids said they had fun. The donkey Kong barrel puzzle was clearly broken and clearly run down half the lights weren’t even lit up on it. The Cubert puzzle was clearly broken. The answer was to turn all the colors blue which I did and my son did on two separate occasions and finally on the third one it worked. We had to shoot the zombies and skeletons multiple times because they wouldn’t fall down. One of the chest randomly opened and you had to come in there to close it and reset it. The clue for the wires is that they match the colors on the heart, but the wire is on the colors. Don’t even match the colors on the heart. There is no brown. There is no pink wires. It would’ve been a better experience if this particular escape room at least was maintained a lot better. Oh, the icing on the cake is we didn’t even know that we completed the puzzle room because whoever was working that night wasn’t paying attention to us to hit the button at the end to say we won the game and another party walked into our game room while we were playing. So to clarify yes I do think it’s fair to say half the things weren’t...
Read moreThey need small business training. Who wants to go to an escape room and have the game master typing there personal feelings on the hint screen. Unprofessional. As customers we are not supposed to even know that the game master is actually a person who’s typing the hints so it goes without saying that a game master definitely should not be typing their thoughts and feelings for us to read. Unprofessional. Kids get excited. Im sure all the screaming we heard in other rooms was not taken as being “yelled at”. Unprofessional. The owner also responded to my wife’s review in a nasty way then called about the low rating later. Unprofessional. Instead of saying What they would do better in the future, the owner deflected by mentioning that we were late. Again unprofessional. Rule number one of customer service The Customer Is Always Right! We shouldn’t have had to spend ten minutes telling the owner exactly how the game master’s comment was rude. You should have made us want to come back instead of nonchalantly condoning the game masters comment....
Read moreI will say this escape room was uninviting and a little unprofessional. We spent money on playing the game and getting clues. As we were playing the game my child got a little excited and was yelling when they were giving us clues. Just like everyone else does in escape rooms. And then someone left a comment on the screen saying “yell again and you’ll be on your own”. Really?? After I paid 100 dollars? That ruined the experience and I won’t be coming back. And it ruined my daughters birthday experience too. Had it not been for that I would rate everything a 3.
And in regard to the comment left below, we were 5 MINUTES LATE. And called to make you aware of that. When you said we may have time deducted, we were fine with it. When we got there we still waited in the lobby before we started the game. And in regard to the rudeness, I mean I don’t know… I just didn’t expect an adults feelings to be hurt from an...
