I recently had the pleasure of visiting Escape Zoe, and let me tell you, it was an exhilarating and unforgettable adventure! From start to finish, the experience was filled with excitement, suspense, and a touch of mystery.

The escape room itself was expertly designed, with intricate puzzles and cleverly hidden clues that kept us engaged and challenged throughout the entire game. The attention to detail in the room's decor and props truly transported us to a different world, creating an immersive and immersive atmosphere.

But what truly set Escape Zoe apart from other escape rooms was the presence of the talented actors, Joey Jacob and Jacob Jr. Their performances were nothing short of outstanding. Joey Jacob and Jacob Jr. are not only incredibly talented actors, but they are also fantastic guides. They provided just the right amount of assistance and guidance to ensure that we were able to progress through the escape room without giving away too much. Their friendly and professional demeanor made us feel comfortable and encouraged us to fully immerse ourselves in the adventure.

My group experienced the Pinocchio room this past weekend and was a little disappointed. We chose the full contact experience because the staff said it would be more fun. Just to inform anyone who is going to try full contact, they will drag you, choke you, breathe on you really close, carry you. That was all good and fun, but i didnt not like the fact that the actor was pretty forceful when he took off my mask which hurt a little and left a red mark. Also we had 5 people, the actor focused too much attention to one our female friend way too much. He kept on going to her choking her, breathing on her and he did it for way too long. There are also other people in our party that barely got any scary attention.

As for the escape part, the puzzles were decent. Nothing really special compared to other good escape rooms we have tried. At the beginning they separated us and there was a time we had wait for our other party to finish the puzzle to continue so we were pretty much stuck doing nothing for 20 min. The other side said that they couldnt get the keypad to work because all the numbers felt the same when pressing the keypad. This killed our time we had left and the rest of the puzzles were felt rushed because we were given the solution by the animatronic helper. Also, the room was very dark and only things we had to help us see were these small electronic candles. My candle ran out of battery so i couldnt read anything and had to borrow the others.

All in all, it was a decent experience. Just wished the actor spread out his attention and not focus on one person so much. Also not so forceful when he is in contact with us. Also please fix the keypad to make it easier to press so the other party doesnt have to wait in a cramped room doing nothing...

We were down in this area to celebrate our anniversary/my birthday & love escape rooms so we googled...

We signed up for Screamboat on our anniversary…. The puzzles were intricate and challenging. The sets were detailed & all of it was spooky! We told our game master, Ross, we didn’t want to lose on our anniversary 😂 so he paid close attention and got us through, even though we were more helpless than normal (we like to think of ourselves as experts but after an 8 hour drive we were not firing all all cylinders). He was fun and patient!

They offer a 20% off if you purchase another game after you play one… so for my birthday we signed up for Pinocchio! (Side note, they don’t open until later in the evening & we were leaving so they scheduled us a room outside of normal operating hours to accommodate us, which itself was amazing). It was interactive, so the bad guy came in intermittently and messed with you… Matt was our game master/actor for this game & he was phenomenal! I honestly didn’t even realize he was the same person even though he has some distinctive qualities (like long hair), he did such a good job! It was spooky and fun at the same time! We’ve never done any rooms with characters, it was so great because we never knew when he would come back… I’m being careful to not give any spoilers, so the environment and the energy was just so immersive and charged! The puzzles were fun and solvable without being too easy.

They also apparently offer the most intense escape room in the US, which if it’s a step above Pinocchio, I believe it! We plan on coming back one day with a group to do it!
