While this location is closest to my house, I usually prefer going to the one up the street in Placentia. Every location had its Pros and Cons. For this one... PROS: Great bread selection; high-quality brands plus specialty/dietary selections. Always a bunch of nut butters and jams/jellies. Very nice staff. CONS: less variety of items, subpar produce, no Red Bull drinks, not as clean, shelves don't visually appear "stocked" at all times. Another item of note is that every once in a while you'll encounter someone who seems a bit questionable wandering around.

The Grocery Outlet in Fullerton is my favorite supermarket - ever. I love the amazing selection of meats, fruits, vegetables and deserts, all at amazing prices. I also like that many of the items change weekly. For instance, last night I scored a pint of Haagen Dazs ice cream for two bucks. Wow. This locally owned business also treats customers like royalty. I love shopping there - and the parking is terrific. If you haven't already done so, do yourself a favor and visit the food mecca. It's that good.

I generally love this place but recently their stocking signs have become deceptively inaccurate. Mineralized water being sold under the disguise of distilled water. Salt and pepper chips behind the sign that says salt and vinegar chips which is really deceptive because they're both almost identical looking bags so if you're not specifically looking for the word pepper on the bag you're going to be in for a shock. I've also seen a lot of gluten-free advertisements for non-gluten-free foods.

How many of you enjoyed shopping at Fresh and Easy?

I did.

I would shop there so much that I rarely went to the 'other' supermarkets. It was disappointing when the new owners took over the chain and ran it into bankruptcy.

But I am happy to say, that I have FINALLY found a wonderful replacement for them:

Grocery Outlet in Fullerton!

Now, I must point out that there are an increasing amount of Grocery Outlets popping-up... and each of them is individually/family-owned (kinda like a franchise). The owners of the Fullerton location did a great job in making this store customer friendly: It's bright, has wider aisles with room to navigate displays, they hired a friendly staff, the shelves are constantly stocked, and they have a big social media presence to notify you of the latest specials!

You can find organics, whole bean coffee as well as coffee pods, great deals on meats and produce, and pretty much most any other item that you'd find in your mega-supermarket.

(Please note: Not all Grocery Outlets are the same. I've been to locations in Orange (small and messy), La Habra (cramped and 'dark'), La Mirada (cramped and depressing) and none of them are even close in comparison to the Fullerton location.)

I am hooked on the Fullerton Grocery Outlet. Even though it is located a little out of my normal daily driving routes, I find that I gravitate to them at least three times a week to see what new items and/or specials they have that would interest me!

Let's put it this way... I'm visiting Grocery Outlet more often than my not-so-supermarket, buying more often, buying more products... but spending WAY LESS on a weekly and a monthly basis.

Stop in when you have a chance.

Tell them Sean sent you.

It won't get you a discount or anything like that, but you'll probably get some strange looks......

This is a good grocery store, overall, as they do keep their promise on bargain produced here. They offer variety selection of meat, protein products, dairy and dry goods, and it’s close to planet fitness, convenient for gym members. With that being said, this store has issue with cashier, particularly the old lady. I had my card not ready for purchase as 2 unexpected charges got debited on my card that day. It’s something unexpected so my transaction got declined. I quickly go on my banking app to fix the issue, lasted about a minute. Suddenly she threatened to cancel my grocery though she already called 2 cashier to help her. No sign of frustration with customers behind me yet she used the excuse to cancel the order and kick me out of the store to fix my card, which doesn’t even take that long. I argued with her for a bit regarding the matter out of frustration, and I just felt being disrespected out of her rudeness. I don’t like writing a negative feedback here as it’s a decent store. But I feel the need to address this, one grumpy and rude cashier shouldn’t ruin the whole store and cause customers to not returning here. Just because she’s a senior citizen doesn’t mean she can get away with bad attitude. I hope this store can improve with this matter as I don’t think it’s first time someone complained about the bad customer...

April 14th, 2022. I went in to the store to get some snacks for 3 people. On the left side of the entrance there was some individual pies that I was going to purchase (among other things). It wasn't even 2 min. when a worker (old lady) told me that I couldn't be in the store with my backpack, I was carrying my tablet and other valuable things in it. I ask her "why?" and she said I could leave it in some area if I wanted to be in the store... Did she say that because I'm Hispanic? Do they ask everyone to do the same? Do they ask all women to leave their purse while they do their groceries?

If they don't trust the customers to go in with a bag, backpack, etc., why should I trust them by leaving my backpack with valuable thing with them? Are they going to be responsible for my belongings if they disappear?

Not sure if this store is located in the "ghetto" of the city but, this hasn't happen to me in other cities and I refuse to leave my DJI drone and my $800+ tablet with a stranger or who...
