CASA FRESH MEXICAN GRILL & BURGERS — Restaurant in Fullerton

Wow, where to start. As we walked in, place was pretty much empty, we were starving so that was the closest place to eat at walking distance. We were looking at the menu and asked if there were any specials going on. The girl who was nice and knowledgeable said "The fish taco combo, the burger combo and the quesabirrias". We ordered the fish taco combo, the quesabirrias combo and 2 lengua tacos. We went to sit down and we got some "super salty" tortilla chips with a good salsa. So, let me start with the fish tacos, I took about 2 bites of the first taco and I didnt get any actual fish, just the fried batter, the on the 3rd bit I was "ohh there you are, finally some fish". The lengua tacos were okay I guess, just the meat was minced instead of being chopped in large chunks. The quesabirrias could use more flavor, and fresh onions would have been great. The onions were so old, they look translucent. They should know that serving onions that old could be harmful to the person that consumed them. 🤮🤮 I was one of those people and I am not going back there ever again. Never had a problem ordering from the restaurant but today me and a few coworkers ordered food and when one of the started to eat her food a cockroach came out!!! We got so disgusted she started to throw up her food. Everyone else got disgusted as well we threw away the food. We called to get a refund because that’s so unacceptable!! When I went for the refund she only refunded us the chili cheese fries (the food with the cockroach) inlet her know that no one ate the food because they were so disgusted by potentially having a cockroach in their food. She still wouldn’t refund us and kept saying that she knows other restaurants have a cockroach problem but theirs doesn’t which clearly they do now. She tried to say that it was our store that had the cockroach problem but I let her know the food wasn’t even inside for 5 minutes when the cockroach came out of the chili cheese fries box!! The cashier/worker was so rude...

I love this place, but I primarily go for breakfast. It's the chile verde omelette and french toast that I love the most, plus their coffee is good. The two pretty girls working there are really nice. They have good daily specials and beer!! The burgers are delicious and the French fries are crispy (they give you a lot). Prices are reasonable and it's close to work. For lunch I always get the grilled tuna salad sandwich w/cheese mmmmm. Give it a try, Semper Fi. Get some!!!
