Roll & Grill — Restaurant in Fullerton

Was looking for a sushi place as my friend chose this spot, I seen the line was long but there was the sushi bar open. I asked if I was able to sit at their mini sushi bar & just sit to eat instead the sushi chef says no & directed me to get in line stating I have to order first and then sit but not sit at the bar?..... At the regular tables okay..... but literally 10 min later I had already placed my order and sat at the regular tables..... Well a man walks up & sits right down at the mini sushi bar & the chef straight up asks him what he wanted to order.... Me scratching my head like wth.... The guy that walked up literally was able to order right off the chef himself without standing in line to order & was able to sit down without hassle. SMH I think the Korean chef is sexist towards women given that I was not able to order any sushi directly from him or sit at the sushi bar but the guy that walked up was able to do so. WOW! Never coming back don't plan on it sushi rice was dried out, for the price pretty cheap but you pay for what you get. Definitely the service...

I was going to buy food today at this restaurant, but I saw the chinese lady who deny me extra teriyaki sauce after I offer to pay for it not caring about the charge about a year ago. I'm still upset over this because I had been to this restaurant numerous times and she had told me she couldn't because there was a shortage in teriyaki sauce. This is my 1st review ever written towards a restaurant and I'm only posting this because someone else made a valid point to me about customer service and why I should do this. I didn't do this review for any benefit, but simply to point out the fact that if I felt this way about being a regular customer for so many years, then maybe someone else feels the same way and maybe had a similar experience. Anyways, I will continue to not go to this restaurant anymore for this reason even though they make good food, but that one day in the past really disappointed me how I was ignore for something i wanted and once again I will repeat myself."I did not ask for the TERIYAKI SAUCE to be free if you guys had a shortage. I roll up (pun intended) and order the Lunch Combo A with a side of Miso Soup and a California roll. I give them a crispy $11 dollar bill and they hand me some change back. The line moves very fast and their orders are always fast. I haven't tried their other sushi rolls but for a quick lunch spot this place is the place to go. Amazing food, feels like a family member made it for you. Their gyoza, soft, crispy and filled with amazing-ness. Same thing with their roll and their salads are always fresh. Miso soup is always hot and good. Their California roll will be the same everywhere, nice portions and comes with a side of wasabi and some radish. Chicken goes HARD and with their spicy mayo it's even BETTER. This place is forsure a to-go lunch spot when you need...
