Unfortunate Experience with the Manager at Meland
I recently had an extremely disheartening experience at Meland that I feel compelled to share with the hope that it raises awareness about the importance of treating all customers with respect and dignity.
Upon arriving at Meland today, I made use of the shoebox to store my shoes, as well as my daughter's shoes. However, when we were leaving, we found that our shoes had mysteriously disappeared. I immediately approached the front desk to report the issue, hoping for some assistance, but what followed was nothing short of shocking.
The manager bluntly stated that Meland was not responsible for any loss, leaving my daughter and me in a difficult situation. Furthermore, she promised to call me but allowed me to leave the premises barefoot without even considering the possibility of reviewing the security footage.
After I had left the establishment without my shoes, the manager called me back to inform me that she had found them. When I inquired why she hadn't taken any steps to assist me when I was physically present, and requested her name for future reference, she abruptly hung up on me.
Shocked and deeply hurt by the disrespectful behavior of the manager from the outset, I returned to Meland to retrieve my shoes and decided to record the interaction for my own protection. When I arrived, I politely asked the manager for her name, to which she responded in an extremely derogatory manner, insinuating that I couldn't pronounce her name due to my accent. I made it clear that I was recording the conversation, but her racist comments persisted.
I find it profoundly disappointing that a manager at Meland would display such blatant racism and unprofessionalism towards a customer. No one should ever be subjected to such treatment, regardless of their background.
I sincerely hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for Meland management to address the conduct of this particular manager and reevaluate their commitment to providing an inclusive and respectful environment for all customers. No one should be made to feel inferior or discriminated against based on their accent or background.
In conclusion, I would like to express my deep disappointment with the manager's behavior and my hope that the Meland team takes swift and appropriate action in response to this incident. Additionally, I intend to file a separate complaint with evidence of the offensive behavior captured in the video recording.

This place is literally handled by teens who have no idea how to handle pressure or apologize for their mistake. We had our son's birthday here and we are very disappointed. We booked a private party room as part of more expensive package and when we reached there no one had any clue about our party, no one even knew who is our party coordinator. Our guests started arriving and we had no place (not even an open space party area) to put our stuff. Finally they gave us an open space and asked us to move when private room is ready (which is fine as private party room is promised for only last 30 minutes). The private room we were given was not clean, you could clearly see the food from prior party on the floor. They spent hardly 5 minutes on cleaning between parties so you can imagine. We requested specific color for table clothes and utensils but again we got some random black and white sheets. If you call them to make any arrangements in advance they will never pick up the phone. Someone called me two times before the party but I guess they were just trying to do the minimum possible for not getting fired. We asked for the serving spoons and I was told they could not find any. Our guests were wondering what is going on. They charge you 30 dollars for the socks that they require kids to wear while playing, very nice idea for getting more money. They also charge 10% gratuity without doing much. In the middle of the party they asked to me if they can remove few tables as they needed it somewhere else.
This place is more expensive than other similar places without offering anything; like taking pictures, special treatment for the b'day kid etc (I am sure they didn't even know who is the b'day boy before we started cutting cake). Even a bottle of water promised for each kid was not given. This is an overpriced and understaffed facility and they overbook it seems. I recommend not booking the more expensive package as literally you do not get anything special. In fact I recommend you to try other places if you have an option. They spoiled my son's b'day and our guests were not happy at all. Wish I can go back and change my decision of coming here...
Read moreSo we decided to check out this place called @Omnifun today, and to my surprise the staff was very argumentative! I will say the manager Miss Diamond is very disrespectful! Because their website has been extremely inconsistent with pricing and promotions. So I decided to call early this morning. It was explained to me by one of the staff members that there is 20% off for the early bird special during the week. She even confirmed it with Miss Diamond who said it was about $2 off! Once we got there Miss Diamond said no one answers the phone but herself and I couldn't have talked to any other staff member. Calling me pretty much a liar in front of my child in a few of our guests as well as other guess that which also trying to check in. She was very consistent to stay on her cell phone while argue with me when. I told her there's children around I'm not doing this and I walked away. She finally then ask one of the other staff members after being belligerent if anyone else answer the phone which they replied yes! I was like it's the principle!! This place is about 5 minutes from me but I honestly would go back to Badlands in a heartbeat and any other place spaces. It's not worth it for 2 hours at $17. When you have a very active two-year-old. As well as I could do without the attitude I didn't even receive an apology. I truly regret telling people about this place, I was out of town and have been truly looking forward to an amazing experience with my son when we got back .
