Chinese Express — Restaurant in Gaithersburg

I went to the restaurant and ordered a large shrimp fried rice.There was 4 to 5 mini shrimp in my rice! I called the same day and was giving a credit to get another order of the rice which I picked up another day. The second time the order was excellent. I continue ordering from them. A month or so down the line I order a shrimp fried rice again. I had the same problem no shrimp and the rice tasted old. I called back up to the store the same day. The young girl that waited on me apologized and ask me to come back in to get another rice but I was home relaxed by that time. I told her I would save the food and bring it back in. She told me to throw it away and she would take my number and give me a new rice when I came back in. I called in to pick up my credit for my rice and order other dishes and the manager was really rude! He told me another rice is not good?!! I told him yeah, I was told to come in to get another one. His attitude turn me off from ordering and I told him to keep his credit and he should'nt treat customers like this. Then he slammed the phone down in my ear! Customer sevice at its...

I love supporting local food places when in the area and I truly enjoy leaving great feedback when its due. I have never had to leave a bad review especially on a food place, I’m so sorry but this was unacceptable to the highest degree. This is a bar not a food place. So you get subpar bar food quality. You literally order food between bar stools while music is blasting. I could tell the lady that took my order was doing her best trying to talk over the loud music, food came out in 10-15mins and it was bad bad… everything was clearly overly microwaved. What a disappointment. Maybe it would be “ok food” to go alongside heavy drinks while at the bar. But yikes. Fried Wontons were hard as stones, I had to throw them away the entire 8ct order. The Chow Foon I ordered with Beef was so sloppy and sticked together it was clearly old and microwaved. French fries were just french fries and the worst offender was the Miso Soup. It was literally SALT WATER. Straight to the trash. I feel bad for leaving this type of review, I wouldn’t recommend going here...

Easily one of the worst meals I’ve ever paid for. I ordered the lunch special, which advertised spring water — they gave me purified water instead, without saying a word. That set the tone for what turned out to be a completely disappointing and overpriced experience.

I dined in and was still served pho in a flimsy plastic to-go container completely unacceptable. The beef was over cooked and tough. The chicken and broccoli was absolutely disgusting with this weird sauce on it. I took one bite and couldn’t eat another. I only ate the fried rice, and even that was nothing special.

What’s worse is that no one even bothered to check in or offer a refund despite the fact I barely touched my food. No apology, no accountability, just a shrug and a bill for $24.

I should’ve known better than to trust this place the moment I saw they were playing Fox News for the diners. That told me everything I needed to know.
