Visited the place 2 times within a year. First time they got my order wrong. Both times they tried to over charged me. First over charge was $2. Second over charge on the last visit was $10 over. After I corrected the boy/cashier, he still over charged me by another dollar - I had a veggie fried rice instead of other more expensive ones. After all that, the older female owner/waitress said to the boy/cashier to add more 'charges' for operating at late hours. Are you kidding me! I paid the right amount + tip - for the boy/cashier did not add the 'late operating fee.' Also, the vegetable fried rice was half the portion I saw of another customer who was there before us. There were 3 boys serving as cashier/waiter plus the older woman. I think one of them took some of my fry rice thinking I would not notice the smaller portion. Btw, you pay at counter - they don't give you itemized costs - so check your totals before you pay. I don't really care about 1 or 2 dollar difference - but I don't like the attitude that they keep trying to cheat on customers - particularly the attempted 'late...
Read moreSave your time yall 😭 they got my order wrong n then tried to play me and literally yell at me over the phone when I called about it LOL lady on the phone was spazzzzing when I called about receiving an incorrect order she was going off on me yall!! She asked me what I received (which was some pho, spring rolls and a drink) so I told her and she kept asking what kind of pho and what kind of drink. I was like girl idk I didn’t order this lmao!! She was like stop telling me I don’t know, tell me correctly what you have, “what do you want me to do about it”. The receipt wasn’t itemized and when my mom came to pick it up they handed it to her right away so we assumed it was correct lol. They said they don’t take names down for orders too. Other staff was apologizing on her behalf asking her to stop cursing and throwing things. They tried to correct our order (after pushback from her) and it still came out wrong...
Read moreThis is what I would consider a classic hole-in-the-wall. I really wanted some banh mi before my volleyball game, and this was the closest place. Man, the bread of the banh mi was so soft and delicious. Personally, I could have used more meat and stuffing inside the sandwich, but my friend and I also ordered a summer roll so we were sufficiently full afterwards.
Another thing to note is that this place is opened pretty late (past 11pm), a good thing to keep in mind, anytime you have a pho/banh mi craving later at night!!
HOWEVER, take their opening hours with a grain of salt. Although the sign on the door says that it is opened at 11:00AM on Sundays (and it seems every day it is opened at 11:00AM), I visited once at 11:10AM and it was still pitch black indoors. Where is everyone? I also figure that since it's not just a pho restaurant, there should be someone there opening the beer & wine...
