River Bend Gallery — Attraction in Galena

I'd been wanting to visit Geoffrey's studio for awhile as I didn't have time on my last trip. First of all, a big thank you to Geoffrey Mikol for signing the piece I bought. Just happen to pass by the gallery while walking, on a trip to Galena. The beautiful photos were the first thing to catch our attention. Once inside, we learned the story of the photographer, Geoffrey Mikol. His entire collection of photos are amazing. His Mother was there attending the shop and shared stories behind his works and his life. She was so gracious and spent much time helping and visiting. My husband and I stopped into the River Bend Gallery while visiting downtown Galena. Geoffrey Mikol’s photography is absolutely incredible. The shop is light and well laid out, and the selection of media displaying Mr. Mikol’s work gives many choices to decide from. As someone originally from Iowa, now living in Florida, I fell in love with the four seasons barn photos on a piece of barn wood.
