The Downtown Escape — Attraction in Galesburg

Worst 130 bucks I ever spent had a flat so we were late we drove over a hr to get there they said they couldn't give me refund cause they wouldn't let us do a different time so they let the kids have 30 mins to play and it sucked on top of it all my kids were so disappointed and the lady was also not so nice either no she didn't give us 40 she gave us 30 and we were 30 mins late and we couldn't find the place and we dis have a flat and ur right poor choice in our part to spend my hard earned money there also maybe if u would have answered phone you would have know that when we called sorry if u think I'm tarnishing your name I was just giving my review so I hope that maybe the next people won't make the same choices I made...

We had a great time here! The host was very good at explaining things to us and never left us hanging on things such as how to open special locks which has been a problem at other escape rooms. The room is very well done and immersive!

For such a small and new business we were not expecting much, but they really did a good job with it.

I would say this room is pretty similar in difficulty to other rooms I've done in Chicago and Tennessee, but it did seem a bit smaller/shorter. Probably a bit easier puzzles. It is the first room I've actually escaped!
