The Orpheum Theatre — Attraction in Galesburg

Just saw the amazing "Anamaniacs" brought back wonderful childhood memories. It was a real treat to learn the history of the show's development; as well as learning about the history of some of my other childhood favorite shows with tunes and lyrics etched in my brain for all time like "Pink and the Brain". Go see it, you know you want to, if for no other reason, then to get a lasting dose of catchy ear worms...

I presented a workshop there and the venue is absolutely beautiful. It's a well-kept theater with a fantastic, friendly staff. I would recommend going to any of the shows there to experience the atmosphere, or even booking shows. They allow groups to use the theater. It really was a great experience. My wife and I have enjoyed many events here over the years and most recently we attended their Backdoor Speakeasy that they held on Friday evenings. It made for a fun and simple, enjoyable night out and we hope that it'll return again sometime in the future.
